Pirate Gear

Bought these to upgrade the coins for age of empires 3 board game, or how it’s now called empires: age of discovery. The coins in the original are already upgraded from regular cardboard coins to plastic coins the size of a half dollar, but that’s why I spent more money on theses then the smaller cheaper ones. I love that these are half dollar size and come with both colors I needed(gold and silver). great feel and made the game even better experience

Okay so I received these expecting both gold and silver however all I received were a gold coins. The coins are beautiful their large, they have a nice weight to them and they are solid. Truthfully I would purchase them again, however I would hope to receive what I ordered both silver and gold coins.

the past several years i have been a pirate for halloween~in the weeks leading up to holloween i go around slipping these coins in the people's pockets without them realizing it this year i used these coins was really happy with their quality there's nothing like slipping one of these and someone's pocket without them knowing and then when they get Home they clean out their pockets and find this very very gratifying super good quality

This collection of coins is perfect for my 5 year old son’s pirate treasure chest. They’ve got weight and clink to them, and they’re great tactile fun to play with. And the imprint on the coins is so cute! Cartoon-y pirate ships, skull-and-crossbones, and palm trees, and the inscription, “Vita Enim Pirata” (Life of a pirate) and “Insulum Piratus” (Pirate Island). I want to order more for a party; unfortunately, they are currently unavailable.

These look absolutely real. They are sturdy with true weight and true size. My son loved them. I gave them to home for Christmas as a pirate themed gift with a pirate jewelry box and a map. He truly believes they are real pirate treasure.

The only issue I have is that the edges are not milled, This makes using them for coin manipulation more difficult.

They look OK, just not heavy enough to be realistically handled.

A little pricey or I would have bought 2 or 3 bags. Nice size for treasure.
