Fake Security Surveillance Camera - Dome

Great item for the price. They look good and are easy to install. If you are looking for a Higher quality, they you will have to spend a little more. Great price and they look good. Not sure how long the batteries last, but the light works well, you will just have to change the batteries as needed, not a show stopper.

Look convincing. Hard to see in photos, there's a fake camera within with an apparent lens under the red blinking light. These mount nicely to walls or ceilings and provide additional deterrence. Great to use when paired with actual, functioning cameras in critical areas, to give the illusion of greater coverage without the cost. Only downside: the battery door on the bottom is a bit of a pain to access to change the 2 AA's

Well.. let's face it. Would you prefer paying 30 times what this product is worth to purchase some hidden cameras and record someone to capture him after doing his thing or spend this amount of money to prevent something from happening in the first place? To me, there is nothing serious here. I'm just placing it in a place where I want people to feel they are monitored all the time and think twice before stealing. Something like a preventive measure, so as an idea, this thing is a winner. Now the second most important part is the execution. The product, in my opinion, looks so real, I never installed the batteries as they add unnecessary weight to the device, and after all, the real camera doesn't tend to blink, overdoing something might give the exact opposite effect sometimes. I hoped to get a better feel and overall sturdiness when I ordered this as most of the cameras have little scratches here and there and feel flimsy, but I don't think that this is a big deal as no one would notice such details seeing from a distance hanged from the ceiling. I don't think that it's necessary to use the screws supplied with the camera either as first, it would be very difficult to determine their location when hanging the camera (you won't be able to see the screws location when the camera base is supposed to cover and hook on them), second, it's a permanent overkill solution to hang a piece of plastic, also using a double face tape isn't a very smart idea as the batteries are located in the back of the base, which means you will have to take them off everytime you want to change the battery. In my case, I used a sticky Velcro and it did the trick. All in all, this is a good product and well worth the money, I just took off 1 star for the quality of the end product, I would have added another star if a fake cable was added to each camera, but honestly, for this price, it's the entire deal is quite fair.

These "cameras" have a 360* dome style but it is obvious that the camera is only pointing in one direction. They are not too flimsy and look legit, especially from farther away. They have easy attachments screws. I wish there was an option to leave the light on...so I will probably continue to use it without the batteries. Thankfully, the camera does not say Armo in blue print on the front as pictured. There is no writing on it. I also purchased signs to display next to the camera. Do not rely on this as a substitute for real security. A lot of criminals commit crimes in broad daylight and in front of store/gas cameras...this product is to ward off the dummies and punks trying to make some quick bucks.

Dome dummy camera looks real.. no doubt about that. Its harder to set up than a real one, due to not being able to screw into ceiling thru a base, but if you have some skills you can get it in. It flashes full time. I mixed it with bullet dummies and it looks professional!! Yes, I will buy more.

Good purchase, these look very real and add a little sense of security we didn't have before. They arrived on time, in good shape and were easy to put up. The blinking red light is a great touch. No one so far that has seen them know they're not real. We also purchased some 5"x 5" stickers for the windows as added protection. Would recommend these.

While I had to supply my own screws, with the right-sized head to fit the hole/slot, they were very easy to mount, just measure the distance between the two holes accurately. Make sure to eyeball it first, so the 'camera' lens is pointing the right direction before you install the screws. Not sure what "sheerness" and "thickness" mean in the evaluation. The cover is dark, but you can still see the 'camera' inside. I am not sure how effective these will be, since I've read that serious thieves will know they're not actual cameras. That said, we don't have much to steal, so I'm guessing "serious thieves" will likely go where there are people living who do have lots to steal. And those folks would be foolish not to have actual security cameras. So who knows? Easy to install, affordable, and they do give me at least some sense of security.

Some of the reviews on these cameras were pretty lame. Real simple: They look like the real thing to me, they’re very light weight plastic without batteries installed, which we left out, and they have a nice flat bottom allowing them to be hung on smooth stucco or other flat surface using three pieces of good quality double-sided tape. I’d buy again. Good product. Thanks
