The students really love the stories

Quick and easy story books that touch base on each individual letter beautifully. The graphics are nice, and they help my preschoolers stay connected with the story. There's a wide variety of cultures, abilities, skin tones, etc. throughout the collection which is wonderful. One of the things I like to do with my preschoolers is further our letter conversations by looking for additional pictures & images that start with the focused letter in each page, as there are many! Good collection to have if you focus on a daily or weekly letter.

Mat man stories are a great addition to my handwriting without tears lessons.

Yes the books are great but for the price I thought the actual Mat Man pieces would have been included. I could have gotten books like these from the library. I thought they were advanced but it doesn’t appear to be so. Wouldn’t suggest paying this price.

This is good for teaching kids the alphabet. They enjoyed it. It is fun becuase they liked the characters. The quality was good. It was well made. I think this is a good way to teach the kids. There was a lot to it. It was well-written. I would recommend it.

Disappointed by the price and quality. Shallow short book set. Not worthy of the Learning Without Tears brand.

My grandson has a Handwriting Without Tears Workbook. He is also working on learning to read. His mother has been pleased with the Handwriting Without Tears workbook so far. I was not aware that they had a whole line of products. But when I started to look in it into the company I found these books.They are great for beginners. I like how each book addresses one letter of the alphabet. It’s basic phonics and great practice. The pages are nicely laid out and easy to read. The font is bold and the pictures give context clues for the story. There is one book in the series that’s more of a workbook. It’s considered a guide and there are limited activities but nonetheless there are some great ones included.Measuring at 7 inches wide by 9 inches tall these books are much larger than most of the smaller phonics books I have used in the past. I think they are much more user-friendly this way and I definitely like the larger size. They are easy to hold and user-friendly for reading with a child.I am very pleased with how this series is presented. I enjoy the colorful illustrations as well as the focus of each individual letter in the alphabet.

The books are good but the pages of the HATS are upside down.

Compre todo el programa para sorprender a escribir de Handwritting without tears. Así que estos cuentos son un plus maravilloso. Mi hija disfruta de leerlos una y otra vez. La mayoría está escrito en rima así que es fácil de memorizar. Aquí en la familia nos encanta Mat man.El póster que trae es genial porque nos ayuda a identificar las partes del cuerpo, a armar a matman y a conocer los trazos con lo cuales posteriormente empezaremos a escribir. Los recomiendo.
