Great visual upgrade!
100% Positive review for these. I have bought various decal sets from these guys for multiple guitars and they all have been great. They give you a complete set covering up to 24 frets. They provided a longer decal for the 12th fret to cover the 2 dot inlays which I needed on this particular guitar. The adhesive doesn't seem super strong at first, but rub it a bit and it bites nicely. What's good about that is if you don't get the alignment perfect, you can still peel it up and reset it. I've had my older kits on other guitars for several years, not a single one has lifted. The clear backing on the decals peels off nicely also as it should. The decals are thin, and they have to be so you don't hit an edge and lift it while bending strings. But, because theyre thin, you can see an imprint of the dot inlay. You could sand the fret board to make it perfectly flat, but I don't bother. You cant tell unless you really get up close under a light.I also oil my rosewood fret boards about 2x a year and the decals dont seem bothered by it. Do NOT oil the board right before applying decals, but that's just common sense.Highly recommend!

Kind of worth it
My oldest guitar will be due for a refret in about a year or so and I wanted to see how it would look with aged pearl square inlays before I pulled the trigger on that operation. Looks great. It's kind of hard to get them on perfectly aligned and you really can't tell they're fake unless you look very closely. There is a shiny gloss sticker on top of them that you have to remove once they are applied or they will look too shiny. I don't know if they will get worn or interfere with playing however. Will try to update after a year.

Good enough, works.
It looks fine, looks real enough, but there’s a little much of blue in the black extended inlay of the 12th fret. Just know that sometimes you may receive a batch with some discoloration. That happened to me the first time I ordered the white ones, they were a little too yellow. You have to be really accurate with your placement or else they’ll turn out looking wonky and bad. They were pretty easy to put on, kind of like putting on a kid’s temporary tattoo.

Great decals/stickers.
Solid product, it is noticeable if actually take very very much attention to it. But overall, I'd say is a great product!Make sure you adjust the 1st two stickers 1st and 3rd fret vertically instead of horizontal.

returned these because they have a decisively green hue
I returned these because they have a decisively green hue. They are not as shown. I don't know why manufacturers continue to make these green. They look horrible on most guitars in my opinion.

Ok but kinda bummed
Theyre great I have different ones on some of my other basses but I was hoping these would be more gold like one of the photos but they are more silvery. I was doing the "poor mans USA Geddy Lee" using a black Squier Affinity and got a blank $75 Maple fingerboard neck with binding and Fender waterslide decals from here and Pearl Pickguard and etched the Amalgamation symbol from the R40 tour into it and the real USA version has gold looking inlays so it doesn't look quite right. I may peel them back off to show the original black ones that came with it (real) and out the refular white pickguard back on. I kinda miss the black inlays anyways. All good whatever. Let the purists rave about this abomination I just explained haha. I'm not trying to fool anyone...its just a mental thing for me since I have other things I want to spend $1,000 on...

Little money - nice touch
I purchased a really cheap guitar as a prop for a YouTube video I was making. For $100.00 the guitar was really nicely done. Looks great but the fret markers on the fretboard were really tiny and that made findingthe right place on the neck challenging. I wanted to get some large pearl finished fret markers that looked like the really nice guitars had. Anyway, these are plastic covered. Glossy and quite believable.Others have said that these look cheap until you get back 10 ft or so. I bet I could let another base player play this bass and he'd think these are what came on as stock. Nice product for the money.
