Westin56-24085 HDX Xtreme Nerf Step Bars fits 2019-2023 1500 Crew Cab (Excl. Ram 1500 Classic) Textured Black 1 Pair

Great looking. Couple of things...(1 Because the step bars are a boxed design, the center mounting bolts are really difficult to get to. Bare hands only, and slender fingers (I don't have those). Tough to get the mounting nuts on the studs inside those boxed areas on each side. 2) There is one part in the kit (16 square plastic grommets - part #10) that is on the parts list and included, but not mentioned in the installation instructions at all. We finally figured out that those must slip over the studs on the rocker panels to protect the paint from the brackets before you mount the step bars. We had to remove the bars, put those on, and then reinstall the bars once we reached step seven and questioned why that part had not been mentioned yet. Looks like that was a part added later by the manufacturer, after realizing nothing protected the paint on the rockers, and the instructions were never updated to include it. Allow 1 1/2 to 2 hours for the complete installation. Packaging was OK but made of fairly cheap cardboard. We found a deep scratch that had penetrated the powder coating under one of the bars because the box had been ripped in shipping. Not a huge deal, but stronger packaging (or wrapping) of such a heavy item would almost certainly have helped to prevent this. All around, a great looking and useful addition to the truck, and seems well constructed. We are pleased with this product overall.

I think the reason why this product has few reviews is because not everybody can afford a running board over $300 but this is no money spent this is money very well invested. This is the kind of product your unborn grandchildren are gonna be able to step on their own truck, you will be able to pass it down to them the quality of it is unquestionable. This is the Second one I purchased, the first one I pass it down to my son’s truck after four years of usage it looks like brand new

Update, months ago the company sent me new ones free of charge after the powder coating was starting to fail so far so goodBuyer beware! I bought a new 2020 RAM 1500. These come from Amazon with the incorrect rear brackets for the truck. Westin knows this when I called and had to ship me the right ones. You’d think between them and Amazon they get it right 😡

Installed on my black2021 crew cab Laramie brackets were right on my shipment they were packed very well not one ding or scratch on them very easy install and fit high and tight to rocker exactly what I was looking for as I wanted to lose as little ground clearance as possible seem to be very sturdy and don’t move at all when stepped on I attached 3 pics shown how they fit in real life

The running boards look great. The hardware and brackets are sturdy. The instructions are not very clear. The front brackets need to be label with a sticker- LF-RF that would help. Be careful installing the brackets they don't give you any extra nut, bolts, or washers.

They look really good on the truck. 2019 Dodge Ram New body style. Easy to install just make sure you clean the paint off the studs underneath your truck for the mounting brackets. There was a small scratch on the step but that was due to shipping. But wasn’t that bad to complain about truthfully. Took about 20 minutes or so to install them.

These steps look fantastic but unfortunately they don’t ship these properly thus causing damage to the steps before you have even installed they put 2 little boxes in between the 2 side steps both boxes are very heavy holding the brackets and hardware these boxes move around in the big box causing the brackets to poke out of the box and hitting the steps thus causing paint chipsI must say this is a big problem because where the chips are have begun to rust I have contacted Westin via email and have received no reply back it’s truly a-shame but this is the new norm in America

Nice look but hope they are better than the designers who were too lazy to mark the brackets or boards themselves to identify which goes where. I never done this type install before but will tell you that it was as much fun as seen your love one with some one else because it truly was horrible to install having to guess what goes where and the instructions were basically a cartoon drawing.
