The product does not come with the base track like you think it does per the descriptions but the seller stepped up and sent me a section to install.

Simple and easy to use
Fits perfectly on the pre-installed tracks on my Ascend 12T kayak, so there was no need to drill any holes in the hull. Instead, it just took a 5-second installation where all I needed to do was simply slide it on the track and tighten it down by hand. It's more than sturdy enough for my purposes, and allows me to add rod holders/fish finder mounts/transducer arms/etcetera to my kayak in just seconds.
