First-time Seed Germinator Enjoying Success
I want to provide useful information on this germination light and setup that might not be consolidated in another review. A lot of people have provided great feedback elsewhere, but here's what I have done by collecting information from various sites and reviews.First, the light: It's quite small but the perfect size for my three germination trays of 1" sq. sub-containers. One light provides sufficient coverage for my 36 planters. It is suspended 23 inches above the germinating soil surface. After just two days of running the light 24/77, all of my greens (kale, chard, etc.) have germinated and around 1--1.5" in height. Even my snow peas and yellow bulb onions are breaking through after three days. This is my first time germinating seeds indoors with a grow light, but it seems pretty darn quick to get this result so fast. Others with more experience may disagree. Here's is something else to keep in mind, and I sense that these are important factors. First, I have the trays sitting on a warming pad made for this purpose of germination. It raises the soil temperature by 10-20°F. Secondly, you can see from the photo that the trays have a top transparent cover that lets the light rays through but retards the loss of of water vapor. The tray system is built to wick water from the deep tray the growing trays sit in where there is sufficient water (about 1.5" of water) to wick some into the germinating soil (not really soil but mainly peat and vermiculite) above and creating an environment that is humid, as is indicated by the water drops condensing on the inside of the clear tray covers.I think all of these factors play a role in creating the most ideal conditions for seed germination. The thing I can think to adjust and change is to shorten the distance between the light and soil surface. So, I will position the second light closer, about 12" above the germination trays, just to see if there is any difference in the germinating process. These lights are ridiculously inexpensive when you think of the advanced technology they employ both in terms of the low-consumption LEDs and in the different light wavelengths that provide for different growth factors. Cool science (botany or agronomy) and advantageous technology. They are easy to set up, will be under warranty for 3 years because I have registered the purchase with the company, appear well-made despite how unbelievably light they are in weight, and so inexpensive compared to other lights. If you're only going to have 70 or so plants to sprout for an initial planting in a small veggie garden, I think this setup and this light will provide the best bang for the buck, not to mention lots of satisfaction and success. I have already shown it to one very experienced gardener friend and now he's interested in this light and tray setup. For the money, the area required, and the results, he's impressed.Follow up: A few days after writing this review, I decided to drop the light 5" lower to the seedlings and provide more intense light. The seedlings seemed a little spindly, so rather than have their energy directed to reaching for the light, I lowered the light to 17" from the seed tray surface in the hopes that the seedlings will use their energy to grow their true leaves.

perfect for seedlings
These lights are an impressive full-spectrum solution, combining essential wavelengths including blue, red, infrared (IR), and ultraviolet (UV) to provide a well-rounded environment for plant growth. The effectiveness of this spectrum is evident in how quickly and robustly my plants are thriving. The setup process was straightforward, thanks to the user-friendly design and adjustable hanging kits, allowing for easy customization of light intensity and positioning. I’ve been particularly impressed by the low heat emission, which ensures that my plants are safe from overheating while still receiving ample light. Energy efficiency is another standout feature; the lights offer powerful illumination without significantly increasing my electricity bill. The build quality feels durable and reliable, suggesting these lights will stand the test of time. Since adding the Juhefa LED Grow Lights to my indoor garden, I’ve observed a marked improvement in plant health and growth, with seedlings sprouting faster and mature plants displaying vibrant foliage. Overall, these grow lights offer exceptional value and performance, making them an excellent choice for anyone serious about indoor gardening.

Not very bright, but effective.
If you are trying to grow something with this light alone, it will work but not perfectly.Like one of the earlier reviewers mentioned, this light is a great supplement for your plants(s).I have a rare plant from my homeland of the pacific northwest and I'm living in Reno, this plant has the perfect wavelength to help low light plants grow.It can also support high light plants if you give them natural sun when you can. This will not grow your marijunana, but it will make your salmonberries live through the winter. The price can't be beat!

Good
This light is good. I like the color spectrum. I use it for my fish tank at night. Used it for my plants as well. Did great. It does not have a shut off switch though, has to be unplugged if you want the light off.

No control on light or on off switch between lights just a plug in nothing else
You get what you pay for that’s for sure

Plants do not do grow well with this light, low quality construction
I ordered two of these. The lights are not very warm or bright to grow seedlings. Compared to other LED grow lights this one is mostly purple light, whereas the ones that work well are white light. The units are VERY SMALL. The mounting cord system is poor design and the power cord is heavy, so the light tilts in direction of the cord. Then you have to come up with a way to stabilize the light so it does not tip or turn, I used wire twisties. One of the lights has a defective power plug, which was extremely hard to remove from the outlet. On close inspection of the plug it looks okay, don't know why that happens. Now the light does not come on. This product is junk, poor quality and waste of money. I wish overall review score (4.2 of 5.0) would truly reflect the quality of an item. It's a big problem on this platform. Over the years I notice buying from Amazon it becomes much harder to find quality products.

Works great for me
I live up in the North East and during the colder months I like to garden indoors. I have had regular style bulb type grow lights in the past but wanted to give one of these panel type ones a try. This was small enough and cheap enough for my needs. At the moment I have over a pot that I placed a red potato that had some eyes in it and planted it. Its been a month and with just this light only I have a TON of leaf growth above the soil. Whats happening below the soil I do not know. But above it this light is working fantastic for the leaf growth.By no means does this get hot or make any weird noises.
