Continental Electric CE23319 Double Burner Range

We don't currently have a range so we are using this for all of our cooking. Works great. Doesn't get quite as hot as an actual range but it has been sufficient for all our cooking needs.Update: We have been using since Sept 2013. We use it daily..sometimes multiple times a day. Yes it takes awhile to boil water and if you are trying to do a large pot, this isn't for you.It is lightweight...but we don't have a kitchen so between this and a flat grill, my husband has cooked some fabulous meals for me :) He cooks a minimum of one meal a day using it, generally it is at least two meals (if he isn't at work). For the price, I recommend it highly. If you want something that feels sturdy, don't expect to get it for this price. We are just now starting to have some issues with the knobs, etc but like I said, heavy use for over a year...not what this is really made for....and it is still going.

I got this for a couple extra burners when I have my stove full doing canning. Only one of the indicator lights work. Wiring is at the minimum and I had to 'bend' the unit to fit flat to the countertop without rocking. Otherwise it heats up as a 1500w element should and the surface is decently sturdy.

I moved into a small little apartment with no stove sadly and needed something to go along with my microwave, toaster and microwave oven. This item works as described and has the wattage needed to cook anything I throw at it. I have cooked for my wife multiple meals from chicken to eggs and it keeps on working very well. Cleanup is as simple as lifting the metal spiral and wiping up, just be careful to wait for it to cool off. Some people asked me, "Aren't you worried about it burning the counter?"...This unit has about a little over a half inch of spacing on all four corners and keeps it from coming in contact with the counter. Understanding how product works is most important. Temperature control is difficult. This Item for me lasted only7 months then stopped working> I was not impressed. One burner went then the other.

It's not the best quality, but not bad for the price. It seemed to only work on high heat, and the plastic end piece broke off the first time I used it. I still used it for months after, and it's still going, but I don't need it anymore. It arrived on time. No problem with seller.

I’ve had this for years, it’s very handy! I’d forgotten about doing the review. A longer cord would have been helpful but it was just fine for my uses. I no longer need it but love it, so it’s a keeper.

When I unpacked this garbage, the first thing i noticed was the lack of quality.... there is none. The burners aren't secured in anyway, flopping around and making much to noise. Then, when I plugged it in, only the left side worked. I then took apart only to find out that the entire contraption is powered by 4 wires, two to each burner, and the wire was like a shoelace. Don't buy this, save yourself some money and buy something else

I bought a burner from another seller before, that one sucks. This one is a lot of better than this one. In addition, the price of the product is unbeatable. Double burner for 30 bucks with such good quality is significant better than my old one in comparison. Do not hesitate to buy, if you need burners
