This is the only solvent that will remove copal varnishes and it is awesome! I use forceps to hold cotton balls and soak them with this solvent to loosen it. After it starts to loosen, you will need to brush it with fine metal brush (like toothbrush) to remove the varnish. Caution is advised with this solvent...it will disolve latex gloves! Definately don't let it stay in contact with raw skin....my iPhone would no longer read my fingerprints for several weeks!! Anyhow, great product and great seller!

Excellent for removing Copal Varnishes from Paintings
