Works great. Significantly lessens the work required to drag deer out.
Unfortunately, I was not able to use this on a deer that I was able to punch out on. However, I ran into another hunter about a mile off the road who had just shot a doe. There was a foot of snow on the ground, I offered to help him get his harvest out. We started each taking a back leg and dragging. After about a quarter of a mile, I broke this out of my pack, we figured we’d give it a try, and I’m glad we did. This made pulling the deer over the snow significantly easier. We were minutes in when the hunter I encountered asked where he could get this and how much it costs - he wanted one for his pack. For the cost, this is a no brainer for your deer pack. The only reasons I can see for not using this is if you were so far in you need to quarter the deer or if you are in a setting where the brush is so thick dragging the animal does not make sense.

Life saver
I like to go hunting a lot no matter the season, mostly for pigs because they’re always a problem at our lease so this thing has seen more use with pigs than deer so I know it’s good. The hogs I’ve pulled through the brush can be anywhere from 150-250 lbs so this thing has some strength! It’s honestly been a lifesaver with getting game into the back of the truck. Trying to pick up dead weight is such a pain but with this thing I can just loop it around their legs or the antlers and pull them into the back. I love it would recommend to any hunter!

Saves your back
I've used this to drag ten or so whitetails out of the woods, now. It's great because dragging an animal by the legs is always a little awkward; the head and neck get caught on things when you use the front legs, and if you take the rear legs then you're going against the grain of the animal's coat. You wouldn't think that makes a difference, but it does. A drag like this can go around the neck, and it makes all these issues go away. The handle's easier on your hand than just using a piece of rope or cordage--again, not something that you'd think is a big deal until you've gone a little distance. Best of all, this lets you drag the animal with a straight back, which makes the whole undertaking a lot easier on your body.

Very Good Deer Drag
Very good product. Easy to drag a deer, or use to bind and lift other objects (sacks of feed, etc.). Sturdy material and can fold down to a compact size for carrying in a hunting vest.
