DJTECH A- B Box, Red/Black (PREAMP1800)

This preamp DJTECH works with my amplifier.2/04/21 update: ''-1 star '' lower because after I switched this preamp for a different preamp (an old unit made by Rogue Audio), the NOISY signal (that sounded like background static & hiss) disappeared; so now I know that NOISY signal was caused by the DJTECH preamp, since my cables & amp & speakers & music source were unchanged.CONS: It has a slightly-NOISY signal and imparts a cold sound. Also the red coloring isn't nice to see with my other electronic equipment.PROS: On the positive side, it has lots of audio controls including bass, treble and mid frequency range adjusters.It has dual-outputs that supports sending the audio signal to 2 amplifiers that I subsequently connected to 2 pairs of speakers (1 amp per pair of speakers).

a good pre-amplifier..... many options this pre-amplifier does have.... good things... several inputs, 3-pin grounded cord and plug, well built, sound quality, tape monitor, back light on and off switch,balanced out puts as well.... not so good points.... regular standard knob adjustments, small knobs, including volume knob, the price of this unit could of been less expensive compared to others..... what could of been improved on this pre amplifier...... larger knobs more or less the volume, better quality bass, mid and treble adjustment knobs.. overall, the sound quality is good, all of the adjustments work well..... the slim design fits into any rack system for dj'ing or home stereo system.....

This is my second preamp, got it as a backup. I've been using my first one for DJ gigs for well over a year, I love that it has 2 aux input and the option to record to a flash drive but above all the sound quality is absolutely amazing. If you're looking for a quality preamplifier this is it. I have played lots of gigs, long hours no problems. The only reason I got the second one is because I know nothing lasts forever and with the electronic shortage right now l decided to get a backup before they're all gone.

This is an excellent preamp, I love everything about it, clean(clarity) and loud. I loved it so much I am thinking of buying a backup. Much better than the Pyle on here even though that Pyle is a very good preamp I've got to say this is a heck of a preamp.

This pre- amp is a BOSS!!! It offers great response,stay's cool & even plays music stored on your flash drives just stick it in the port.You'll need a "real DJ system" with amps crossover & the works to effectively use this monster.

I've owned a lot of equipment over the years, but on a budget needed some rack mount equipment. I was a bit hesitant on this piece, but paired it with a lower end Crown 1502 amp, a Tascam CD player, a pair of Peaveys in series with a pair of Electro-Voices. The whole set up absolutely rocked. The DJ Tech Pre-Amp is very impressive. It has very good specs. I was not disappointed at all! Time is the next test. So far, so VERY good!
