Works great, easy and convenient for protein shakes during my 45 min. commute to work daily
This personal blender works great. It not only performs exceptionally well but also boasts the perfect size that doesn't monopolize precious counter space. The convenience and ease of use make it a go-to appliance in my daily routine. One of its standout features is its efficiency in crafting the perfect protein shake. I've found my ideal blend: half a frozen avocado, a handful of ice cubes, and a chocolate protein shake. The result? Pure deliciousness. The frozen avocado adds a creamy texture and a nutrient boost that goes beyond taste—it's a treat for my hair, skin, and nails. The blender's compact design makes it incredibly practical for on-the-go use. I can effortlessly bring my protein shakes to work without the hassle of a bulky appliance. The ease with which it crushes ice and blends frozen ingredients ensures that I get a consistently smooth and refreshing shake every time.Cleaning is a breeze, and the durability of this blender is noteworthy. It has become an indispensable part of my routine, and I appreciate the added bonus of incorporating nutrient-rich ingredients like avocado into my shakes. In conclusion, if you're in the market for a personal blender that delivers both convenience and performance, look no further. This blender has exceeded my expectations, making my protein shake routine a delightful and nourishing experience. It's a compact powerhouse that has earned its permanent spot on my kitchen counter.

Very happy with my Ninja! (Update 5 yrs later!)
We have been using this little guy almost everyday for smoothies and almond milk, almost 6 months now. At this point we have really gotten our money's worth. I'd say we are heavy users. It works beautifully still to this day and no dull blades yet, but overall, the containers (mostly) and blades are already showing some wear. It is powerful and loud as any blender with 1000 watts. Crushes ice, fruits, nuts, and vegetables in a breeze. Pushing and holding the blender's container down is easy. You push to pulse 2-3 times to break up the large pieces so not to cause damage to the blade or unit and hold continuously thereafter about 30-40 seconds (or longer if you choose) to get a great smoothie. So far we are happy with our purchase. The way we use our machine, I'd say we may need to replace the containers soon. I would recommend to those looking for a smaller unit to make quick smoothies on the go. It doesn't replace a full size blender, nor a food processor as it is an extractor, not a blender, but, it can still do a lot. You can create many things such as sauces, soups, juices, nut milks, smoothies, frozen drinks, etc. It comes with a good size recipe book with some great inspirational ideas to get started. We use our unit specifically for smoothies on the go and producing almond milk. The clean up is a breeze, especially for those busy mornings. A very handy, useful product. So far, it has made our lives healthier and just a little bit easier in some aspects. Worth a try.==> UPDATE 2020: It's been about 5 years since my purchase, and it is still going strong! We love it for its ease and convenience! We haven't had any issues at all. We use it quite a bit. The only wear and tear we noticed is the interior of the containers and the blade surface. The blade is not as shiny due to the constant beating it gets from such items like ice. But overall, impressed. Still very strong and powerful. Over time, we have moved from smaller portions to larger portions of smoothie meals, so our use hasn't been as consistent as we use our large blender.

Good little blender
Nice compact blender. I use for smoothies in the summer and for making the occasional sauce. It's very loud if you use ice so I tend to just use frozen bananas in my smoothies instead. And if I'm using any nuts or chocolate chips, I have to blend it for a while for them to incorporate in all the way but maybe I'm just impatient. The lids that come with the cups are hard to drink out of unless you use a straw so I usually just transfer my drink to a different cup. Everything is fairly easy to wash which is nice. Overall, a good addition to the kitchen if you like smoothies and have a little extra room on the counter or in the cupboard.

Power makes quickness..
Got it for over a year now. I use it daily. No complains. The power it has makes the shakes and mixes to be almost instant.

Vitamix Twin!
Let me start off my saying I am saving up for the Vitamix so you can understand how high my blender standards are.I've tried all the "good" blenders at the stores and even bough the magic bullet and regular ninja, which actually lasted me quick a little but until the button broke.Nothing compared to this NutriNinja. Nothing else could keep up with what I make in this thing.I bought it during Black Friday of 2014 so I got a great deal. I don't go anywhere or last a day without it. I make frozen banana ice cream on the daily in the small cup. I grind my own peanut butter and nougat for homemade snickers. Make my own hummus. Sauces, nut milks, smoothies, oat flour, and even froth my lattes in it. This is such a high powered, heavy duty blender. I'd say it's almost side by side to the Vitamix and absolutely necessary to have especially as a Raw Vegan if you can't quite afford the Vitamix just yet. I'm in no rush to get the Vitamix because the NutriNinja is like a god send in my house. There's nothing it can't do and there's nothing I won't do with it. I absolutely love it. It's the love of my life.
