Vater VBLM Little Monster Drum Brushes, Pair

Hot rods were too loud and shot splinters everywhere but these are perfect. You can adjust the volume by moving the elastics. Don't expect to keep them very straight/tight like they are in the picture and wail on the drums though. Grips are comfortable but also bear in mind the reach is a bit shorter than your typical 5A/5B drumsticks. I have noticed tiny amounts of blue stuff on my snare but it just wipes right off. No stains.

These Vader little monster brushes work perfectly and they're very easy to handle. Perfect for the soft sound that you may need and they're thin enough to use without feeling uncomfortable.

They work fine. A little lighter / than I expected which makes articulation suffer, but nice for lighter work. I suggest getting something a little heavier if using them for pop/rock. Also, the tip of the handle fell off one of them right away it was easy to glue back one (3-stars for durability).

Love these little brushes. Makes playing in my town house possible with neighbors. Wasn’t sure how they would be compared to normal size monsters, but there actually really good.

I love these. Expressive. Really light, but that didn’t bother me. Fun to play.

They seemed to flex quite a bit as they are a bit too thin. I returned these and went for the Innovative Percussion BMZ-2 and they’re great!

My fave brushes for non-traditional jazz-related forms of music. These provide an attack and volume range that is somewhere between wire brushes and sticks, similar to a hot rod but in my applications, superior due to the flexibility. I love these things and use them frequently.

I have found that playing quietly is not that easy. These monsters give me a little bit more control over volume and touch in my swing/standards band. Great weight and feel, between hotrods and brushes.

These are superb!!! Worth the investment!

One of the stems of the brushes wasn't quite up to the quality of the other. Sort of like a 'factory second', that said, I probably wouldn't have bought the product at all at RRP, and I would have not appreciated what an excellent product it is. They sit between wire brushes and rods and have a unique sonic quality.

Oui, ca frappe. Beau sur caisse claire. Ca faire "Schlapp!" ou "Frapp!" J'aime. Pas super ou cymbal. Ille rebondir pas - hot sticks, c'est plus facile. Mais c'est pas mal. Bien fait.

Rolandのtd-1kvを使用しています。他のコメントで音の出力が弱く、エレドラ用としては使えないという意見がありましたが、バスドラ以外の感度をマックスに設定すれば何の問題もありません。しっかり鳴りますよ！ これにkt9等の静寂重視のペダルを組み合わせ、ドアに防音パッキンシール等も貼れば、家族からの苦情も恐れず練習出来ます！

Great brush,not too much bulky or thinny,the 2 rings on the brush helps alot to have more simple sound or more brush sound quickly and easily.
