Bigfoot the Bashful Yeti Garden Tree Sculpture

I got this as a gift and was very surprised by the detail and quality. It's so realistic it freaked my dog out.She was growling and barking. Still eyes it with distrust. Like all other posts, I just wish there was a larger size available. There are three mounting holes in the back but good luck getting them lined up when mounting on a round tree trunk. I did just one screw and it holds fine. Love the looks it gets.

I bought this as a gift for my husband. We live in a very wooded area and he wanted a big foot for a bit of whimsy. This did not disappoint at all. It was a big hit with my husband and now also our neighbors that walk by. Great quality and detail, totally worth the price.

Excellent realism.Yes you do have to take care of resin garden figs: I put 3 coats of satin spar urethane on ours, to uv and wear protect the paint job. Instructions also spec to bring them in for winter against freeze, as expanding ice in nooks & crannies can wreak havoc on the resin.Yes, he's small - ~15in - but that just means you need to set him at a suitable distance and height context to _hide_ visual scale cues. Make him _look_ farther away, and he'll appear bigger.Thrilled with the results!

I am not a superstitious person. I consider myself rational. I am not on any drugs. I bought this as a gag gift for my apartment because the idea was tacky. Back in college (24 years ago at University of Montana) it was quite the warmup when drinks and girls were over. This big fella witnessed sordid, raunchy things. He saw funny and sad things too. He had hats and bras and lingerie hung over him for 6 years. He was a part of my life more than any one night stand. He was a little voyeur, always looking to and at me. But in my grad year of 1997 I met who I thought was the one. She and I moved in to our house and my frat days moved out. This guy too, was put out in a bin of free garbage at the edge of the driveway. He peered at me from his little box, and I would look out from the kitchen to see old women and crackheads take baubles but pass him by. And then one day, he was gone. I never saw him leave. I never saw who took him. My darling mused that someone had finally "found Bigfoot". I laughed, though part of me felt like I had lost a bit of who I was.I'll skip ahead here for brevity-and it's really not important to the story. We lived our lives, we were happy, but age changes you. Mentally and physically. Gone was the suave young buck, now I was a middle aged man. I had grown hairier and fatter. My hairline receded and revealed more of my forehead. My smooth hands were now calloused and dirty. Wrinkles popped up faster than I could count them, and my beard was always in season. The me of '97 wouldn't have recognized the pseudo-ape that had let himself go. The monster that had lost his wife and son, and foreclosed on his home. I had lost everything in the divorce, and my ex-wife had barred me from even seeing my son. I had to peer around trees and obstacles just to catch glimpses of him. I got good at it, too. Of course I nearly got caught-phones and cameras are everywhere nowadays. But with age comes a primordial wisdom, and I was always one step ahead of tracking dogs. Helicopters, film crews, hunters, trappers, bounty hunters, even drones- they all could not stop me. I found my son. The strapping image of his old man, no doubt making Dad proud in his apartment. Some perverse side of me hoped I might even relive my college flings. Getting inside was no issue. Years of hiding had given me a tact which had no equal- and I expertly rounded the corner of his bedroom to see my boy.Now, as I type this review, the Bigfoot statue stands watching me. It's very lifelike but too small to be a sasquatch. If it was double the size it would be perfect.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas. It’s so fabulous! Now... I read reviews about this peeling in the sun, not doing well outside... my hubby is obsessed with Bigfoot. We put this inside our mountain house on top of the cabinets in the kitchen. It will not be in the UV rays of the sun, so I cannot say weather it will lose color or peel. It’s so perfect....everyone laughs when they walk in the kitchen! We put a piece of wood in the corner for him to hold. It’s super fun!!!! And it’s BIG! Great size! Worth the money in my opinion...but again, I don’t have this outside

We live on a ranch and my grandchildren ages 2-6 love to ride around the property with me on my utility vehicles. There is a gully we ride through and they look for the trolls that live there. I have secured this to a post at the gully. We laugh and look for him as we drive through and try not to let him get us. Everyone is laughing and enjoying their imagination. Great fun!

This is a work of art. The face is so realistic. It is very well made and sturdy. We haven’t attached to a tree yet because he was a Christmas present and the instructions caution against leaving him outside in cold weather. Now that it’s springtime, we will be putting him outside to keep an eye on things.

Awesome! See the picture. Is an outdoor decor for your tree but I liked so much that I decided to keep it inside of my house.
