Classic Concentration: The Game, the Show, the Puzzles

Lots of fun for those who want to take a stroll down memory lane or those unfamiliar with the old tv show. These puzzles are by the original puzzlecrafter. (NOTE: this is not the "game" version with windows you have to Match to reveal small parts of the rebus.) ALSO note: many non-Amazon sellers ask an exorbitant price for this book. It is well worth $20 not $60,80, or $100. Be patient and keep visiting the listings until you find a reasonable price.

Great book, I have a lot of fun doing the puzzles.

I love this game.This book, however, is just OK. It is mostly just a book filled with dozens of pages of puzzles that appeared on the Alex Trebek hosted version of the show (late 80s / early 90s). If you're looking for anything truly original about the history of the game or the show, it's not here. A few pages of text seems to give all the credit to Mark Goodson for the show's success and summarily recaps some of the early history of the original version (similar to what you could easily find via a Google search). There is no mention of Norm Blumenthal, the creative force behind the show from it's early days. There are no puzzles from the early days, either.If you have about an hour to flip through the pages and test your rebus-solving skills this book will keep you entertained. If you're looking for television history, this is not the book for you.

I had the book years ago and lost it. Found this used copy and have had so much fun with it with 5th - 7th grade students - and the occasional adult that wanders into my classroom.

This was amazing! My family plays games every holiday and this was a big hit.

Good book to remember all the memories of watching this game on TV
