From the perspective of someone who is 50 (male), this product is very effective, it does notacibly improve my mental state and energiy levels within 5 minutes of taking it and the effects last a good 6 to 8 hours, with a healthy diet.I enjoy running as well and I believe this DHEA (Double Wood) is helping in healing my muscles and joints.Note to race runners, make sure you get your TUE filled out by a doctor before using this stuff or the USADA could ban you for a period of time, read online it happens even in master running.As far as dosage goes, I recommend putting half a tablet in a smoothie at first and see how you feel and see ifyou get any oily skin, acne or any other reported side effects. I'm almost 50, well past the age where testosterone levels have begun their decline in a man my age. I also started lifting weights to help strengthen my upper back and shoulders due to a rotator cuff tear and surgery 6 months ago with physical rehab.I lifted weights in my teens and twenties but got discouraged due to lack of gains and never went back to the gym after several years of trying. My testosterone should have been at it's peak then and I should have been making gains in size and amount of weight lifted. I've been using this for about a month now and I'm getting more muscularity than I had as a teen and adding 10 pounds per week to the amount I lift on the bigger muscle groups. My doctor recommended this to me for weight loss as it increases energy and I did see some good results in the first 2 weeks (I lost about 4.5 lbs.), but after that I started maintaining. When I paired it with 1500 mg/day of Ashwagandha I saw the best results. I lost 13 lbs. in 6 weeks. I wasn't a couch potato though. You'll only see results if you keep a decent diet (watch the sugar) and get some minimal exercise in, even if it's just walking around the neighborhood a few times a week. 45 minutes a day of accelerated heart rate is all we actually need to maintain a healthy life and to experience weight loss (per my doctor).

DHEA experience has been amazing! I had a full hysterectomy in Oct 2018,I refused to go on medication to balance me out.
