Gorilla Waterproof Patch & Seal Tape, Black Tape, 4" x 10' (Pack of 1) - Permanent Weather Resistant Seal for Leaks and Repairs

I've just applied this tape to my drip system hose, fingers crossed it works! Apparently a critter was looking for some water and chewed several holes in the hose. The reason for 5 stars, I'm staying positive and will update later. But, I did want to pass on a helpful hint. Cut the tape before you remove the peel of backing!! The tape is VERY sticky which makes it difficult to cut if you've removed the backing, I learned the hard way! And, after reading the instructions, who reads tape instructions! Don't turn the water on for 24 hours! Here's hoping for the best!!!!

My snow plow truck is 27 years old and looks every bit of it—rust everywhere, including the windshield frame. It leaked so badly into the cab that I started keeping body wash and shampoo in the cup holders so I could clean up as I ran errands. Apologies to the family in the Buick who had to endure the terrible pitch of my singing at the stoplight, but hey, I’ve always been one to sing in the shower.I didn’t just slap this Gorilla Waterproof Tape on—I took my time, carefully applying it. At first, it looked really, really good. I’m including a picture of what it looks like now—spoiler: it’s seen better days, but it’s still holding strong.After surviving the worst winter in over 100 years—200+ inches of snow and a brutal ice storm—there are still no leaks. The tape did its job, and I’m impressed.If you need a tough, reliable fix that’s not in any manual, this Gorilla tape earns every one of these five stars.

This has worked quite nicely in repairing a split seam on a Polaris side by side cover. I expect it will outlast the cover itself. Not as effective in my TV travel trailer gutter leak/repair but it’s a head scratcher anyways.

I used this on my BBQ grill cover as it has few rips. The color matches and it sticks pretty well. But the product just isn't strong enough to hold during the summer months of Vegas heat.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:It worked! I had 2 air mattresses with leaks and was debating just buying new ones. I am glad I took the chance and bought this tape. Now my only problem is having so much extra tape leftover! Sounds odd, but I look forward to fixing some more leaks with it in the future.

It’s sticky but I will say it sucks on wet surfaces, the adhesive only stick to dry surface and the little clear plastic you have to peel off to reveal the sticky area is a little hard to peel off.

Purchased this to seal the roof rack mounting holes on my 3rd gen Tacoma. So far, it has worked perfectly—no signs of interior leaks even after heavy rain. It adheres strongly and has held up well. I would recommend it to anyone looking to complete a similar project or needing a reliable waterproof seal.
