SafeWander Bed Exit Alarm Sensor

This is a great back up! I’ve been using this for my dad for about 3 weeks now. He has dementia and wakes up all hours of the night. He was tying to be sneaky at times and not call out for the baby monitor I use to wake me up. I can’t tell you how it worried me that he would wander outside without my knowing it. So I search and found the SafeWander. Now I i using it day and night and I can turn it on if he’s sitting inside and I go outside, the sensor willalerrt you if their position is 45 degrees different. So if he’s sitting and I turn it on my phone, and he stands up, it alerts me! Yay! I used to feel like I had to be RIGHT with him at all times bc he has fallen several times even with his walker. I couldn’t even leave him to go fold laundry! But now it gives us both a little breathing room! I do still use my baby monitor but only because he can talk to me and say “I need water” or whatever and I can push a button and tell him I’m coming, but since he was not always telling me when he was moving to another location & trying to do it on his own, this has been a lifesaver! I was really hoping this would work as well as the advertisement. I‘m the caregiver for my 88 yr old mother who is unsteady on her feet and has dementia. I needed something to alert me at night when she needs to get up to use the bathroom. Unfortunately the alarm would sound several times a night, though she was still sleeping. Sometimes if she laid on her side it would go off. It’s a great concept but needs some tweaking with accuracy of getting up not just movement and also volume control. It’s soooo loud! I about jump out of my skin!Unfortunately I am sending this back.

I purchased this to monitor my mother so she wouldn't get out of bed at night. She had fallen weeks before and broken her pelvis and we needed her to stay in bed and call for us to help her with night time bathroom usage. It worked really well. Unfortunately, mom passed from pneumonia and was only able to use this for a very short time. I loved that I could monitor her from the app on my iPhone. Highly recommend this product.

I can not say enough about this product - that offered me great peace of mind. It was actually another caregiver beside myself,I was dumbfounded as to how to care for my mom from afar and with a little google research, I read about this incredible invention.True innovation - true care by the young inventor for his Grandfather. A product of love.Cost is no issue when it allows you to sleep or rest peacefully... until you have to care for that soul again...It does what it describes - an intuitive product - easy to use and set up.

A great product for any caretaker or even family member! I was worried after I found out my grandmother had been walking out in the middle of the night. After doing some research, I came across Safewander and decided to purchase it to use with her caregiver. The setup was easy and smooth and her caregiver has had no problem using it so far. I can finally rest at ease! The button-like attachment is also light and unnoticeable so it hasn't bothered my grandmother at all during her rest. Definitely recommended for anyone worried about their wandering loved ones!

I had a little trouble working it in the beginning but the customer support was excellent and had my mom safe in no time.I highly recommend this product.

Concept is good. But unfortunately it would not connect to the internet as it was not compatible with the equipment being used. Tech support worked hard to help, but in the end had to send it back.

Just wanted to let it be know how pleased we are with the safewander. We went from getting next to no sleep at night to enjoying good sound sleep knowing that the safewander would wake us up. We definitely recommend it.
