A dream come true
I know this is silly, but I wanted this cord for years. I knew it was possible, but every time I searched for something like this, I'd be empty handed. I mean headphones have the buttons to control volume and pause and skip tracks, why couldn't an aux cord? This replaced the aux cord I had for 12 years. It's pretty great. You just need to make sure that you've plugged the right end in the phone. It's the one with the three rings.

Great functionality!
As much as I like the functionality of this item the pricing really makes sense when it comes down to the finish and material used. The cable and buttons feel cheap and mushy, not as clicky as you might imagine. The biggest selling point behind these is that it does work as advertised for a very reasonable price! If that's all that matters for your everyday use I entirely would recommend this item.

The wiring where the phone connects to the phone wore out in 1.5 months
It sounded great until it the wiring wore out, after only 1.5 months of moderate use. Where the wire connects to the phone audio jack, I would have to angle the wire in different ways in order for the sound to work. Otherwise it cuts out in one ear. I would have hoped for it to be more durable.

seems like a good wire
It did not work for me but I was trying to see if it would work with my iPhone adapter and it did not. the wire seems well made

Works good
Not too bad, sound ok but has slight crackling every now and then. Control works fine, I thought it gave gave more top volume.
