Great beetles from a great seller
Excellent buying experience. Beetles are healthy and lively. Packaging kept them safe and protected. Our family very much enjoys these funky, low maintenance pets. They are kept in a 5 gal tank with sand substrate and lots of sticks and mulch. We often move the tank around the house to catch the sun coming in from the windows. The beetles are thriving.

Nice insect - very tame - cute
Came packaged well. Our beetle was packaged in between paper towels and leaves. The container was wrapped in newspaper. He was active upon arrival. I had a question and they answered very quickly. They were very polite people. May play dead when you put in enclosure but will quickly start walking around. May not eat on the first day. He has been handled since he arrived. He does not bite and is very hardy.

Great low maintenance pet!
I bought these as a birthday gift for my 5 year old daughter. She loves bugs. These did not disappoint! Came healthy and lively and well packaged. They played dead when I transferred them to another container which was cute but quickly rolled back over and went about their business. They don't bite and my daughter holds them a lot. Very easy to maintain! They don't have to have water and hardly ever eat from what I can see. Maybe they are sucking moisture out of the fruits and veggies that we feed them. They don't make a mess and their enclosure will hardly ever have to be cleaned. We recommend.

Great little buddies
These beetles arrived in great condition and have since even been upgraded to a 20gallon area they have mated and produced a small number of larvae and have had great appetites, so far no deaths in owning them for 3-4 months, I wasn’t able to see if vendor stated these as wild caught or captive bred but I have been very happy with these little guys!

Handicapped beetle
He was shipped really quickly in about 2 days. He however came with 2 feet missing. This does not phase him. He is eating well and is good. I wish further expecting for a perfect specimen was done but overall very satisfied

Cute healthy little guy
Love my little guy. He came in good packaging. And came with a heat pack to keep him warm which was unfortunately ice cold when I opened the box. Was a little worried at first since the temp was so cold and he wouldn’t move for about an hour. But he eventually came to and explored a bunch and ate his food. It was a bit more expensive then other places online which I didn’t notice until after the fact. But overall I’m happy. He’s super cute and looks healthy

Fast friends
We lost our first FDB and my kiddo was heartbroken. Our family is complete again with a new beetle friend, to be named. Arrived active and happy to play.

Simple, Fascinating, and a Little Dumb (or a lot!)
My little guy arrived just fine in a container packed with leaves and paper towels. I've had him for almost two years now and he seems to be going strong! Getting him to eat was a little tricky at first, but eventually he began eating pieces of apple after they dried out a bit. He also eats freeze-dried bloodworms (like the ones sold for Betta fish) and live superworms. Strangely, he seems to be nocturnal even though I've read that they're active during the day. I think it's because he prefers to be out when we humans are away, because for a time I was working on projects at night and sleeping during the day -- and he soon switched to being active during the day! He's great to take out and let crawl around, but be careful! They WILL march right off a cliff without hesitation if you let them. Don't use calcium sand or moist dirt in their container and be sure they can't use anything as a ladder to climb out. They're amazing climbers, even upside down!
