An ugly brut!
So I took a bit of a punt on this, based on the previous reviews anyway. I wanted something that I could use to take an echo into the garden and have it last all day, well not all day, but a lot longer than 4-5 hours. This unit is not pleasing on the eye, compared to others, it is a fat round slab of battery, but it is one hell of a battery.Out the box you have a charger cable and UK adaptor, the Battery and the sticky magnet. If you decide to use the magnet, you stick it to the bottom of the echo (I let it set for 24 hours. This will then hold the echo VERY firmly on top of the battery. I charged the battery for 24 hours the first time. (Not needed, but I just left it plugged in).I tested the first full charge by streaming a well known talk radio station at 50% volume, which on an echo 2nd gen is a reasonable level. The unit died after 17.5 hours! The second charge took 3 hours to complete. The charger shows a red light that turns green when fully charged. By the way, you can use the original echo cable to charge the battery but apparently it does not charge the unit fully and you will not have the charge indicator. The unit has been playing continuously for over 23 hours and at the moment it is still going. Pretty amazing really. So if I pushed the volume up really high, I am guessing I would still get maybe 10 hours.ProsThe battery last way longer than more expensive competitorsIt is dirt cheap at the moment £19.99 reduced from £69.99It charges quicklyConsIt is not prettyIt has no battery level indicatorIt does not have an on/off button (just unplug the power lead from the echo, simple)The magnet affair is a bit cheap and nasty (you do not actually have to use the magnet, it will work anyway, you do not even have to stand the echo on the battery)So the idea is you plug this into the wall, dock your echo permanently and just pull the mains cable out when you want to go portable. But you could just charge it and plug it in when you need it. The echo I have used is a spare as I upgraded my stereo pair second gen to a pair of third gens.I bought a second one so I can have stereo on the patio.Trust me, if you are not worried about something that looks smooth, but want something with stamina, get one of these. At £69.99 I would not be sure, at £19.99 it is a no brainerUPDATE Bought the second one, charged for 3 hours, played for 24 hours straight.

Not what I was expecting ☹️
There is no indicator of how much power is left in the battery, and you can only half charge the battery using the original Alexa power supply, so have use the second charger that comes with the power bank?I did return it and purchase another brand which had both these features?

Would not recommend. Cheap look and flimsy, stuck on with glue which did not appear great. Returned for better product

Magnet does not work
Found the supposed magnet to be useless, when you pick up by body the battery pack comes away
