Accu Cable1.5m XLR-XLR Microphone Audio Cable

I've just been using this cable in a single place and haven't changed it much, but so far it's been working as expected and I've had no problems. I've attached an image of the pin/slot configuration of the cable so you can know at what angles it will be connecting to your ports.

The latch mechanism on the XLR connectors is poorly designed, so on 2 out of the 4 cables I ordered, the latch clip was hanging out of the connector. It can be persuaded back in, but then poops out again next time the cable is used. Just really poor design or manufacture of the connector. Shame, because the quality of the cable (The wire) seems OK.

Cables were ok apart from I had to resolder 3 connections are the were dry jointed, you will know what this means if you are that way inclined, not the end of the world for me as I have done this for most of my life, but if you did not know what to do it would be a "pita" apart from that cables were fair quality for cost of them but quality control hasn't got much to shout about...you pays your money and takes your chance I suppose... good ol china...

Although the product does work, I’ve given this a low rating as the width of the head is so wide that two XLR heads together eg L & R channels, will not fit into the sockets comfortably.

Have to change the plug position to get angle of cable facing up.

These plugs are so thick that you cannot plug them in to anything with sockets spaced at standard intervals.
