Elegant Designs LT1025-HPK Modern Leather Table Lamp with White Fabric Shade, Hot Pink

I needed to replace two very problematic Ikea end-lamps (on their last legs!) in the master bedroom. I had been comparing prices for lamps for a couple months and these were the best value for the price. I purchased these lamps in the tan color. I put them on the nightstands on either side of the bed. They only just arrived yesterday, but I am really liking them. The style is interesting yet clean and not overcomplicated. The color is very accurate. It's a warm caramel color. The leather construction is very well done, as are all the fittings. There is nothing loose, rough, or cheap-looking. I think the shades are a great design and of decent quality for this type of lamp and price. One of the neat things is that you can use the shades in two ways: as pictured, where you can see the metal tube bulb housing, or you can turn the shade upside-down so that it covers that tube and about one inch of the leather base---unique either way. I am using them as pictured because I wanted a little taller lamp (21.5 inches). I haven't had issues with the shades being wobbly. I pushed them down firmly enough so that they seem to be staying in place. The lamps are the perfect size for a bedroom or on a desk or shelf. If you wanted something for your living room or have a large space to fill, this is probably not the lamp for you. My only "issue" with the lamp is that the on/off switch is the dial kind on the cord. I would have preferred a standard switch up at the bulb, but it's not problematic enough to subtract a star. Also a plus, the electrical cord is transparent, so it blends better with your decor. I hate seeing those white or black cords poking out! I got these on sale recently on Amazon. So for me, $40 for two of these lamps was well worth the price.

I was looking for something simple to decorate and illuminate my small bedroom.I spent a good half hour browsing through a multitude of lamps on Amazon, reading one review after another. My criteria was for a modern lamp, that was inexpensive, yet didn't look "cheap."I came upon this lamp by Elegant Designs. The reviews seemed quite favorable, so I took the chance on ordering two lamps with the idea that if I didn't like them, I could return them with Amazon's liberal return policy.Both lamps arrived well packaged in their own individual boxes. Thick styrofoam keeps the lamps secured in the box so that they don't get knocked around in transit.The lampshade is also well protected with plastic outer wrapping. Both lamps arrived in perfect condition.Both lamps I purchased were with the black leather look. While the base isn't made of real leather, I must say that it looks like the real thing and anyone not knowing any better would not be able to tell the difference.I was able to unwrap and install both lamps on my bedroom dresser within 10 minutes. I used a Philips A19 Hue Bulb (Echo/Dot controlled), and it fit perfectly.And, no, the shades aren't different colors. They match perfectly. I saw a negative review about the lamp shades here on Amazon and I wanted to reaffirm that if you buy more than one of these lamps, the shades match perfectly.Now here is the downside to the lamp...The shade rests upon the bulb itself instead of being integrated into the lamp fixture. This may or may not be a deal breaker for some. If the lamp is going to sit in a quiet bedroom, I don't see any reason why the shade won't remain balanced. However, if it is being put in a high traffic area where someone can cause vibrations near it, I can see the lamp shade becoming unbalanced. Really, I don't understand why this company did such an awful job integrating their shade like this.NOTE: A reader of this review was kind enough to note that you can get this shade to fit into the stem of the lamp, rather than balance it. However, it does mean turning the shade upside down and inserting it into the stem prior to screwing in the bulb. This method does work, though the shade sinks somewhat into the stem. Whether this was the intent of the manufacturer is unknown, as there are no included instructions with this lamp. However, using this method, you can permanently install the top shade rather than balance it.Finally, be aware that the switch for the light is on the cord. You will have to reach down to turn the lamp on and off. If you are using home automated lighting like I am, this won't be an issue at all.Still, for what my criteria demanded, this lamp by Elegant Designs perfectly fills the bill. It's an inexpensive table lamp that doesn't look "cheap." I think that is something that will appeal to many people.Highly Recommended!

these lamps are great. They are really good size, not tiny little dinky things,and they provide a sufficient amount of light. They're a great value for the money and I would happily by more of them if and when I get to that point of decorating other areas. The assembly is really easy. Really all you do is take the lampshade put it over the fixture and then screw the bulb in over the top so it basically locks the lamp shade in between the bulb and the fixture. I have mine connected to Philips Hue Lights and I control it via wireless switch and my Google home. I normally voice command it but I like having the switch there just in case.the only thing that I really didn't care for too much is that it has the weird rocker style switch built into the cord. I can see for some people depending on where they place it or how they set up the lamps, that that might not be a very convenient location for the switch. but since I use Google home and Hue Lights I only ever had to turn them on once and they're controlled by other devices so I never have to physically turn the lamps off at the source. As this was not a deal-breaker for me and it works for my situation I'm still going to give it five stars despite the weird unfavorable power option. Totally buying more once I move on to another area of the house

Good quality lamp for the price! Very chic looking, a little smaller than expected though. Overall good buy.

It's cute as a button. A little different to turn on as the shade gets in the way of the toggle switch but I'm gonna hook it up to a remote control switch. Other then that...I LOVE IT!!

This is so perfect for what I wanted. One thing is the lamp shade I turned upside down otherwise the bulb showed from the top! Not good...they need to turn that around, it works my way fine, but if the makers are listening, fix this please

Looks just like the pictures. The color perfectly matches my bedroom soI really wish I could keep it but it’s really awkward to turn on. The shade slips down a little too low, so the tip of the lightbulb Is visible above the lampshade. That alone is not a dealbreaker for me, but it is very difficult to reach your hand up under the lampshade to turn on the light. My hand gets caught every time. Have to send it back.

Me gusta y se ve genial pero no me gusta que la tela de arriba no tenga un tornillo que la sujete o algo así porque en ocaciones se mueve y se ve chueca. Pero por todo lo demás se ve de excelente calidad y muy vistosa.Actualizacion: 5 años con la lampara de mesa y aun continua funcionando. Y se encuentra en excelentes condiciones

The aqua colour is beautiful; it goes nice with the grey and matches other accents of the same colour nearby. It's a simplistic yet beautiful design.The assembly is minimal - put on the shade, screw in the bulb, plug in the lamp, and turn it on. The switch is simple: push it in from one side to turn it on, push it in from the opposite side to turn it off. Whichever side has the longer side sticking out is the side you push in, whether turning it on or off. I prefer this design over the little knobs that turn, to turn it on and off.I cannot comment on longevity as yet as I've just unboxed and assembled them. It took all of 5 minutes, if that, for two lamps. It is also daytime so I cannot comment on their brightness at night though I suspect they will offer soft lighting via the shade.

Bought this for my dad he likes it(the light blue one).Has a nice weight and expensive look to it. Installation was simple enough.bulb included was bright but i installed smart bulb (so turn on and off timely manner and dims ).its not so bad to reach the switch as long as you go underhand and from side but again i used smart only used switch like 4 times. Personally i dont really like design i think kinda boring and do recommend getting the proper color that is going to go well with your home colors or aestheticsI bought this on sale for 25
