BUY THIS PRODUCT!
Every once and a while you can be excited and delighted by a product. This is one such product. Let me explain. I run sound in my band, using a MS Surface Pro to remotely control my mixer. I've tried various ways to mount the Surface Pro to the top of one of my synths, but never found anything really satisfactory. At the same time, whenever the band plays in a hot environment, like a summertime outdoor gig, the Surface Pro gets very hot. In fact, one time, it got so hot it shut down.Let's talk about killing two birds with one stone. First, I use velcro to attach this cooling fan to the top of my synth and I fold out the two rubber supports to hold the surface pro. I've got to compliment the designer for incorporating the two rubber supports. They easily fold out for use, and fold in for storage. They hold the Surface Pro securely, yet it is easily removable when I want to move about the venue. I think the clever design of the supports ought to get a Nobel prize. So clever, simple, easy to use, efficient, and effective. I cannot rave enough about this feature. And, oh by the way, my overheating problem has been solved! The only criticism I have is the USB to 3.5mm power cable. Why couldn't they use a standard USB cable like the ones that I already have? I'm going to have to purchase a special cable as a spare. All in all, if you have a tablet that you need to keep cool, I'd seriously consider this product. Like I said, I am excited and delighted by the rubber supports. So clever!

Awesome Alienware m16 m18 r1 r2 cooler
I use it on top of my Alienware m16 laptop sits above the keyboard, literally a game changer, a must have. These laptops have inadequate cooling and also from top to down reverse flow direction, (regular cooling pads make cooling worse on this model) and this fan takes care of proper cooling. I find that low speed is good enough unfortunately this still makes some noise.

Effective & Compact Fan for Laptop & With Only 1 Design Flaw
I bought this fan to provide extra cooling to an SSD based NAS I keep in the "tech" closet of my home and it does a very good job at that. Its compact form factor that throws air at the length of the NAS's case is perfect. I can see where this would be perfect for a laptop PC also. The only downside to be aware of is the power cord. Its driven by usb power so one end is a standard USB-A connector (awesome) but rather than making the other end of the cord a standard USB-C or micro USB, they made it a tiny round connector that is far less standard. If I ever need to replace the cord or require a longer cord it will be very hard to find. Also, the round plug sticks directly out of the back of the fan which requires the fan to be placed several inches from anything behind it. In my case its not the end of the world but I wish the plug was on the side or it had a USB-C socket so I could use a 90 degree angled cord plug. So close to being perfect, yet so far. I read another review that pointed this design flaw out but I did not truly understand what the reviewer was describing until I had the fan in my hands. I still would have bought it if I knew but I can see where it would be problematic depending on where some people want to place the fan.

Effective for Macbooks or any other laptops with rear vents only!
This laptop cooler is highly effective at its job. Traditional cooling pads with numerous fans only managed to move a minimal amount of air underneath the device, which was ineffective for my MacBook Pro since both the air intake and exhaust vents are located on the back of the laptop. This cooler's design addresses that issue by keeping a steady flow of fresh, cool air circulating around the back of the laptop, which noticeably reduces the temperature when the laptop is under heavy use. It's an excellent product with great design. The high fan setting is a bit noisy, which is understandable. However, I've found that the high setting is generally overkill unless the laptop needs to be cooled down quickly after the cooler has been left off a while. The medium and low fan settings are more than sufficient for typical usage scenarios.

Most effective laptop cooler I've used
tl;dr: A little bit noisy but great.Pros:I have a Razer Blade and those things run ridiculously hot. This cooler has kept temps low enough that the surface of the machine is touchable. This cooler moves a lot of air. It's pretty great. The design is such that it elevates the back of the machine and *not* the front. Makes typing more comfortable IMO.It's also pretty compact. Imagine packing a tube in your bag as opposed to packing another laptop-sized thing.Cons:It moves a lot of air but it is fairly noisy. No high pitched whining or anything but lots of moving air.The USB connection is not standard. Replacing the cable is more of a PITA.

Better for ally, steam deck and other handhelds
At first I got this for my laptop but I ended liking this more for my rog ally X. Keeps it cool and also gave me extra performance. My cinebench multi core score went up from 5200 to 6000.

Meets basic requirements, could be much stronger and more directional
This unit has a nice appearance and fills a basic need for airflow somewhat adequately. The fan is very quiet, but this seems to be due to a lack of significant air movement. There is not a big difference between the settings, and the top setting is not very strong. For the size of the fan, this could put out more airflow.Design-wise, the power input could really be more thoughtfully done, as it requires a lot of clearance at the plug. In fact, if a standard usb port were used instead, the solution could be much more flexible, in addition to needing a propriety cord if something should happen to this one. It would also be nice if the output airflow direction could be more controlled, as it is it just seems to blow all over, which only adds to the impression of low output.
