WORKS GREAT!
This cord is just perfect!! I did get some advise from a local computer store who had this cord for $39.99 but on 6”. I told them I saw it on Amazon for just over $10 bucks only. The Tech said make sure you get DVI-D to VGA or it won’t work. Don’t leave the D off. I got a newer monitor to use with my existing 4 yrs old computer, which still works great!

Worked Perfectly!
I needed to connect a VGA monitor to my desktop and only had a DVI port available. I tried an adapter on the existing DVI cable and it didn't work. I bought this and it works perfectly!

Works Great
We've had this for a while, but I finally decided to give a review. When we purchased our new desktop pc quite some time ago, we needed this connection. If we had paid for an in home tech visit to set up and install the new pc, this connection would have come with their extremely high fee charges. However, since my husband prior to retirement worked in the engineering field and knew exactly what to do, he has always installed and connected our home desktop pc's. We ordered this cable, he connected it and it works great.
