It is flexible but easily removed black algae. Combined with algaecide worked well.

So the scraper worked good for getting the black algae spots from bottom of pool. Like others have said, would be nice if it was a little sturdier and not plastic handle. Mine didnt come with the clip and they wouldn’t send a clip. I would have had to send the scraper back! Crazy. Took off another pool tool i had and used that.

I was able to get all the black algae off the bottom of my pool using this. It does bend quite a bit, but I just flipped it over and used it from the other side.

It broke my first day using it.

Useful tool but the adhesive they use for the tag is ridiculous. Almost want to throw it away just because of this.

What you see is what you get. For the cost, I should have purchased a hand scraper and mounted it to a pole.

Worked great to get black mold specs off bottom of pool. It is a little flexible and would slowly bend away from direction scraping, maybe I was pushing too hard. Just flip over though and it would slowly bend the back other way, so really isn't an issue. Once outer layer scraped off, using a brush and the chlorine in the pool took care of the rest. Doesn't help too much if the pool plaster has deep pits.

Did what I wanted it to do! Good purchase.
