Café-Quality Coffee Made Easy
I love this coffee powder! The aroma is rich and inviting, and the taste is smooth and delicious without being too strong. I’m not great at making coffee, but this makes it so easy to get a great cup every time—it honestly feels like I made café-quality coffee at home. Definitely recommend!

Percolator
I am not a fan of preground coffee in a can, i prefer whole beans ground just before use, BUT I have prepared this coffee in 3 different ways. Phin/Vietnamese, Moka Pot, and percolator. This is a pretty mild and smooth coffee. It has a lot of flavor, the chicory. It was a bit to week for me with the Phin, and was ok in the moka pot, not my favorite. I prefer a heavy espresso. I have a single origin organic espresso roast from mexico i really like for that. I did read the French Market suggest you brew this in either a drip machine or percolator, and I dont allow drip machines on my property!! So it went in the percolator. This was by far the best method of brewing for this coffee so far. I do intend on brewing in a vacuum/siphon pot. Really what i would use this coffee for is when you have a bunch of guests over and want to pull out the big 12 cup percolator, or for me most likely is for camping. Id bring this can and that should get threw the weekend. I'd brew it in the big perc on an open campfire. The French Market says to serve 50/50 coffee to warm milk. I did just that out of the percolator, and it makes a nice smooth mellow, but also flavorful cup. A good coffee and method if you like a piping hot cup!!

Great coffee
Great coffee with a strong rich flavor. Can has an easy open top. Easily one of my favorite brands for this type of coffee.

Second to Community chicory
First and foremost, my favorite coffee is made by Community and it's a coffee and chicory blend. It's so delicious and full of flavor, I highly recommend it to all. Sometimes it's hard to find locally and it can be expensive when purchased online, so this French Market chicory is my backup option. The French Market coffee is good, definitely worthy of 4 stars, and the price is decent, and the tin can is cute. It isn't quite as flavorful as the Community brand and it isn't as uniformly ground. I'm honestly not sure if anyone cares about the uniformity of the grounds but I thought I'd add that bit of feedback just in case. So, overall, I'm happy with the product and will probably buy another can sometime in the future. If you like chicory, give it a shot!

Super Deal. Case lot for what I’d normally pay for two cans!
I often have trouble finding good New Orleans Style Coffee with Chicory. So I stocked up on this super deal. I paid for the whole case what I’d normally pay for just two cans at a grocery store. It’s fresh and delicious, comes in full size cans. Free shipping too! What’s not to love!?

Disappointing
I like a nice bold cup of coffee, but once or twice a year I like to change things up and go for tastes that remind me of different things... like a taste of chicory. Sadly this particular coffee has just turned out to be boring. No chicory flavor, no true coffee flavor. It may do nicely for someone who likes sugar and cream in their coffee, but for me, it just doesn't work.

I would have preferred to have the decaf version cause I don’t really have caffeine. Luckily this seems to be quite mildly caffeinated and hasn’t caused any issues for me. Has a lovely rich taste, I make it a bit more mild, but it definitely has a strong taste if you use the recommended amount. Definitely would purchase again!

Many years ago my first cup of coffee was a cup of coffee and chicory: very milky with sugar. It certainly set me off on a life of serious coffee drinking. In those days, coffee and chicory was the cheaper option; instant coffee and chicory was the cheapest option. But its milder flavour and (completely unverified data alert) lower acidity meant, at least, that you could drink it all day without losing your mind. Strangely, today, it appears on Amazon as just about the most expensive coffee a chap can find. The current price works out at £20GBP/lb weight. That is FOUR TIMES the price of some estimable and widely available 100% coffees. You’ll think me mad, but I am still pleased with my purchase. For special occasions, and those mornings where I don’t have to rise quite so early, it fits the bill; and it’s still cheaper than actually buying a coffee rather badly made by a stranger. My only real gripe is in the (very attractive) packaging: a ring pull cap with a re-sealable plastic lid. The plastic lid is so badly made that mine actually disintegrated on first use. At £20/lb one might reasonably expect something with a screw thread. My ‘hack’ (as I understand we have to say these days) is to deploy an alternative lid, which can be sourced from either East End® brand butter ghee, or Geffen’s® breadcrumbs – either of which will set you back another £3.50. As I say: very expensive coffee.

Lovely dark strong coffee, but cost and import duty are heavy

This isn't as good as Community Coffee New Orleans blend, but it's pretty good. Arrived early, too.
