i used this for a summer in a basement apartment in chicago and had 0 complaints. easy to set up, heavy ofc but i am a 5’2 female that didnt have help bringing it in. BUT very easy to move around after its out of the box. super durable, i had it for 2 apartment units and it worked well in both. air flow was constant and cold. not sure about energy efficiency but i never saw an impact on my electric bill if that means anything to you.

Great product, it cools very well and wide spread across the area and beyond. My ac went out and it was hard to get appointment right away. I ordered and it was delivered the next day. Great service! Thank you!

Works well,lots of cold air,and the size is what we were looking for,BUT the only issue with this product is that it is so loud,if your a heavy sleeper you should be fine,don't plan on watching TV unless you turn the TV or radio up high,we bought 2 for bedrooms to replace the window ac units because we didn't like installing them in windows in the 11th.floor over the main enterprise of our building.

Delivered in good condition. Everything appears to be here. The unit is working fine. Seems to be a good purchase!!

Purchased the original and received on July 5th. Compressor would only run for 2 or 3 minutes before turning off and blowing room temperature air. Setting was at 72° room was over 80°. Asked for replacement which I received on July 11th. Let it sit for 24hrs in the vertical position as it said to do on box both times. The replacement did the exact same thing as the original. Neither pushed cool air for more than 5 minutes before the compressor shut off. Both were set up and vented outside as they were supposed to be. I have another brand I run in my garage and it has worked flawlessly for over a year now, but these pieces of crap need to be put back on a cargo ship and sent back to wherever they came from.Now here is where things go south with Amazon. I contacted them and let them know the replacement they sent was not working as well and that I prefer to just be refunded on my Amazon gift balance to purchase a different brand, preferably the one I bought from them last year. I was informed by Amazon customer service that the refund would not be credited to my account until both were delivered back to Amazon. So 4 to 5 days for return shipping, then another 2 to 3 days for credit to be applied, then another 4-5 days for a replacement to arrive to me. So now I'm stuck waiting 3 days for the first one to arrive and not work, another 3 days for the replacement to arrive, then 4 days for them to receive the returns, 2 days for the credit to be applied, then another 4 days to get a replacement. So I'm out now $300 for something I paid for that Amazon sold me and maybe 3 weeks later I may get something that works. After over a decade of being a prime customer I would have thought Amazon would've treated loyal customers better than this. I think this may be the end of my Amazon account as several other online retailers are offering same shipping times and products with more care to customers. Why pay for a service that cares absolutely nothing about the products they sell or customer base they have.Once again save your money, buy a different brand and stay as far away from this piece of garbage as you can or your waiting your money and don't expect Amazon to help you in any way.

I live in Texas and work from home most days. My home office is on the front corner of our house and gets a lot of sun. My wife likes to keep the A/C set to 76 degrees, and in the summer, the home office is 80+ in the afternoon. Before I purchased this, I was using five different fans (six if you include the ceiling fan) to try and keep myself cool. I bought this portable window-vented A/C unit just over a year ago, in July 2023, and it has made a huge difference. Before, I would have to take breaks on the hottest days, just to go to a different room in the house to cool down. Now, I only have to take breaks when I actually need a break from work.The unit isn't small, but it's not obtrusive. My only complaint is that it's a bit loud--but the cold air feels great, so it's not a huge trade-off. If I have to be on a call, I'll turn it off with the remote, and as soon as I'm done, it's back on at the push of a button.As noted, I've had it for more than a year now, and it still works as well as it did on the day I first used it (knock on wood). I haven't had to drain it yet, but if that ends up being a huge hassle, I'll come back and edit this.Overall, I couldn't be happier with this purchase--well, maybe a little happier if it wasn't quite so loud, but I definitely think it was worth what I spent, and I would definitely buy it again.

Cools as it should but I can see why its on sale. The vents in front that enable the "swing function" are incorrectly installed and make the blades inoperable. You will get no air flow until you remove them and if you try to put them back the swing function breaks and will never be usable again meaning you should leave the blades off. Very bad impression but does a good job at cooling albeit just a loud as a window ac unit if not louder.

So here’s the deal: my family refuses to set the thermostat any higher or lower than 74 degrees—ever. And if you live in Florida, you already know that 74 just doesn’t cut it. It stays hot pretty much all year. On top of that, my bedroom (which is on the smaller side) is somehow the only room in the house that stays warm no matter what time of day it is.I finally decided to grab this AC unit for myself, and let me tell y’all—it’s brick in here now, LOL. I’ve only had it for about 24 hours, but I’m already obsessed. My room stays cold, and it actually feels refreshing to be in here for once.The ventilation hose is a little bulky—I do wish it was smaller—but it’s not a dealbreaker. Also, if your window is small like mine, be prepared to cut the plastic window insert it comes with. It’s thick, so good luck if you don’t have the right tools.Overall, I’d definitely recommend it, especially if you’re dealing with heat in just one room. Total game changer.
