Only good for people who have done their studying done
This book would be good for people who are ready to take the test but want to review materials quickly before the test.But if you just started studying (my case) and want more example problems, then this book would not provide what you are looking for.

Sloppily Constructed
I had read the review by Justin I "Justin", and after buying the item, I completely agree with him. There are many typos and also wrong answers, for example 3.1-a) uses a value in a solution calculation that differs from values given in the problem statement. Also, that same calulation doesn't yield the answer that they give! After spending an hour trying to figure out 3.2-b) I realized that there was a typo to blame. Does Kaplan find the cheapest authors with no proof-readers to crank out an "FE Review" just to compete in the market? Cheap.

Excellent book! This prep book helped me the most and got me prepared.

This book hasn't changed anything in 10 years or more
I had the 1997 version of this book which is filled with typo's, a few wrong answers to problems, and a bunch of problems which don't seem like they would actually be on the exam. I bought the 2007 version because I wanted another practice test, but low and behold it was the same EXACT practice test as the 1997 version of the book. I would only recommend this book because there isn't much else on in way of preparation. Good luck!

Terrible. Full of typos that actually change the answer ...
Terrible. Full of typos that actually change the answer so it's more work trying to fix their errors and retrace steps to see if the answer you actually got is correct. Don't waste your time with this book, just order the practice exam from the organization that makes the FE exam. Note to publishers: feel free to contact me to fix your typos and problem errors. I am the valedictorian of my chemical engineering program. I've outlined them all and can sell them to you so you can produce a better book in the future.

You can get the morning and afternoon review books for a lot less COMBINED!
Why would someone pay $190 for the afternoon book when they can get the morning AND afternoon books on the Kaplan website for $160.

I don't recommend it
problems at the end of each chapter has nothing to do with FE exam because they are not multiple choice!
