Make sure you get the correct socket for the light it is going in.
The socket fit the light perfect. It was used in a can light recessed in the ceilings.

After finding the manufacturer of my light poles and checking their price on shipping I decided to buy these replacement light sockets instead . They worked perfect!

Perfect replacement for my 1976 can light
I had the worst time finding a socket replacement for my 1976 can light. This was a perfect fit! Wires long enough to thread through conduit. Worked perfectly. I only had to adjust the clips a little to get on the plate. I am so happy with this purchase! May buy a few to keep on hand in case other can lights go out!

Worked great
Had to remove and rewire some can lights in a 20 year old kitchen they had cfl ‘s with a ballast that had to be bypassed so these worked out great for that
