Well grown upon receiving
Grew nicely over Fall ‘25 in pots. Will plant on the ground in Spring’26. Hopefully they survive Indiana winters 🙏

Well established crepe myrtle plants

Remaining hopeful
I ordered 6 crepes and planted them the day after receiving them. I put some crepe Myrtle fertilizer at the roots to help stimulate growth. These pictures were taken after a week of being planted and watering daily because of the extreme temperatures in Houston, TX. I have not seen any progress to date. I wanted to give and update. Trees are showing signs of growth!

Healthy
I received the crape myrtles a couple of days ago. We planted them yesterday. They arrived in good shape. We are looking forward to seeing them mature and hopefully produce beautiful blooms.

Crape Myrtle Trees
Only one of the 6 has survived. Not sure what happened but pretty dismal survival rate. Any pointers beyond the instruction received for a hot and dry climate would be nice.

They came prefect, ready to plant. I am very happy about what they will look like full grown.
They are planted and ready to grow, how prefect. That will make the backyard look beautiful, I love red flowers when it’s summer.
