Very Very Satisfied
This is my first 3D Printer, so I went into this with a bit of skepticism. Not because of the product, but because of how new I am to this whole concept. I've been keeping an eye on the progress of the technology and waiting for the prices to go down a bit while still giving me the quality I was hoping for. I'm happy to say I wasn't disappointed. My first print was the hexagon model I uploaded. It's meant to lay on top of a heroscap tile, allowing me to glue small trees to represent forests. Printed it at 0.1mm layer height and it came out pretty decent! The mech was my second attempt...became a bit too overconfident but I couldn't wait to try something complicated. I wanted as much detail retained as possible, so I went with 0.05 layer height and 80mm print speed. After 10 1/2 hrs of printing, you can see the result. The front of the model came out MUCH better than I had hoped. The back however...well, not so much. It's important to note, though, that this was not the fault of the printer. I'm still learning about supports and my settings were WAY off. As I learn more about the best way to use supports, the better the end result I'll expect to get. I've seen some really amazing prints online that are damn near resin quality. That's my end goal for something like this model. Finally, I printed out an organizer for my daughters Betrayal at House on the Hill game. Again, came out perfectly even at 0.3mm layer height. So far, I'm extremely happy with this purchase to say the least. Now, a few things to note. Don't get me wrong, I'm still giving this a five star review. I just want to mention a few things for any potential newcomers to the 3D printing world like myself. First, assembly was very easy but I had to pause in the middle of it so I could run to Home Depot to buy a couple screws that were missing. They were only a $1.25, so no big deal. Definitely not enough to warrant downgrading to four stars. Mistakes happen and this didn't really take away from how the printer functions. I don't want to write a review based on a few missing screws, lol.Second...this thing is LOUD. The power source especially. I did some research and it turns out there is no thermostat in the unit, so the fan never knows when to turn off. There are mods that will fix this, or you can do a search for a new power source that will only turn the fan on when it's needed. I'm probably going to upgrade at one point, but for now it's not too annoying. Again, not really enough to take away a star.Any other problems I've run into pretty much come down to my own lack of experience. Once I have the settings right, I end up with some very good results. And that's what it really comes down to...the settings in the software you decide to use. If you get a poor print, it's almost definitely going to come down to the settings you used to prepare the print in the first place. If you're just getting into the 3D printing scene, or have been into it since day one, I'd highly recommend this printer. It's easy to set up, solidly built, and gives great quality prints. Definitely one of my better purchases!

Pretty darned impressive
UPDATE: I've been using this printer nearly non-stop, round the clock for about 2 months now, and I have to say, this machine is a beast. It's without a doubt the best printer in my print shop (I'm not a professional printer, I just have multiple printers and my own room to keep them in, weeeeeee), and outperforms the Creality and Prusa printers.Customer support is phenomenal, and this machine just keeps on going and going. I plan to buy the Pro soon for the added build volume, but the Gantry-S is an amazing printer at any price point.I didn't expect much for a $199 printer, but I've been wanting to see what the new 32-bit boards have to offer, so I figured I can't lose much on this experiment. Let me tell you, this printer is one heck of a value at this price. I had it assembled in no time, and printed off the 5020 test print... part way. I cancelled the print as to not waste filament, and just wanted to see what the quality was like. It was some of the best I have ever seen, especially since I haven't dialed it in yet.Pros:Essentially a clone of the Creality CR-10S with a slightly different build area.Very solid. The frame is machined well, and I was amazed by how square and level it is on initial build.Fast. if you're coming from a few 8-bit printers like I am, you can feel the speed difference at 32-bits.Easy to construct. I probably could have finished this build in under and hour... but I'm married, so that didn't happen.Easy to use. If you're brand new to 3D printing, there's a slight learning curve, but watch their Youtube channel and you'll have your first build off the plate in no time.Cons:The display is not intuitive, and looks like every other generic printer out there. Could be a lot better.Leveling is easy, but it takes some dialing in to get it "just right".Not a lot of support. No Cura settings in the manual, and not a lot of help out thereNot a huge community of owners. No built in support in Octoprint. You'll have to play a bit if you want to run in.Perks:I appreciated there being larger bed leveling knobs in the box. It would have been my first print, but there they were. The USB to Micro-SD adapter is a very nice touchThe scraper that comes with it is still cheap, but it's metal, not plastic. It's cheaper than a Monoprice Select Mini, so you can't lose on this one, and has way better features and a larger build surface. This is a great entry-level to mid-level 3D printer, and it can be modded a lot with CR-10S parts.

Not for people new to 3d printing
I got this printer when it was on sale for $250 so my review is based on the sale price not the current $340. I was debating the gantry s (ender 3 copy with some upgrades) and the diggro alpha-3 (longer lk4 pro rebrand) but ended up getting the gantry s because of the price despite some reviews that looked clearly fake. This printer is basically a ender 3 copy with some upgrades like the filament run out sensor and a metal extruder. The filament run out doesn't really work as the printer seems to not be precise enough to return to the same place before the filament ran out and messes up the print, So don't rely on the filament run out sensor and the power recovery either. The printer is VERY loud, I keep mine in a separate room. The bed was warped on my printer so I got a glass bed to fix it. This printer is definitely not for people new to printing as the assembly videos seems to have missed a bit of info and you need to tune the printer to get good prints, once you do get everything tuned you get really nice quality prints, I had experience working with and fixing 3d printers so it wasn'tto bad but it would definitely be challenging to people new to 3d printers. This printer also has some quality control issues so watch out for that (v slot wheels with scratches, burrs on a lot of holes, warped bed, etc) my extruder motor especially had problems which was super frustrating and took along time to fix but got it resolved with customer service. For $250 this printer is a great deal if you know how to fix and tune 3d printers but for $340 I'm not so sure. I would choose the diggro alpha-3 over the gantry s. if you are going to get this printer make sure that you upgrade the firmware and loctite every part you assemble. Best way to contact customer support is through facebook and directly messaging adimlab Joseph rather than emailing them.

Great Printer with even better Customer Support
I don't typically write a lot of reviews, but my experience with this printer, and particularly the customer service, was excellent. The learning curve for 3D printing is steep, so don't expect to be able get it up and running without making a significant time investment. That being said, I found that with (relatively) little effort and after working through a few initial problems, I was able to get excellent quality prints very quickly. The first challenge I experienced was the instructions are a little inconsistent. There are instructions on a series of pdf documents on the SD card included with the printer. There is also a Youtube video playlist with videos showing how to assemble the printer. The version of the printer in the videos is slightly different than the pdf document on the SD card and the actual printer. While a little confusing, it wasn't that hard to figure out. I also wanted to use Cura instead of Slic3r, and it took me a little while to realize that there were instructions for setting up the printer in Cura on the SD card. The second problem I had was after assembling the printer, I tried to auto home the extruder assembly without first putting the SD card into the printer. I didn't realize that the SD card updates the firmware on the printer the first time you put it in. I ended up sending the hot end assembly crashing into the print bed, breaking one of the cooling fan ducts. However, there are gcode files for the fan ducts pre-loaded on the SD card so I was able to print the ducts and fix the printer right away. Finally, some of the bolts that came with the printer were defective and it was missing some t-slot nuts, so I wasn't able to fully assemble the printer right away. I contacted the support team by email and it was honestly the best customer service I've ever experienced. I received a reply right away, and I was asked if I could find the missing parts locally, otherwise they would have to be shipped from China. I got the parts myself, and I actually ended up with extra parts because I had to buy more pieces than I needed. I was credited the full amount immediately with no questions asked.Once I had the printer up and running, I immediately started getting high quality prints without any additional work in spite of my inexperience. It was essentially plug and play. The Cura settings worked perfectly, bed leveling was very easy and I've had no problems with adhesion, salmon skin, ghosting, or stringing. The relatively small problems I encountered were more than offset by the excellent customer support I received and I would recommend this printer to anyone.

Good Value, but not for some new to 3d printing.
Firstly while all the parts for building the printer had been present the micro sd and essential files were missing.Building it using the available videos on the Web did go reasonably well.Had two faulty screwsThe only issues was after powering on some menu options shown in video totally missing and the print head did not align left on x axis it moved right and hit end of rail. The hot bed y axis also reversed. However the printer would print. Print Quality was very hit and missTried to resolve issue with email to manufacturer - no replies. However facebook group was helpful, but could not solve problem. 5 months later obtained the files that should have been with printer. there was a firmware update. This solved the problems including missing menu optionsPrint quality is now very good and reliably good. Not perfect but impressive. The prints are reasonably easy to remove from bed surfacePrinter Power supply fan is noisy so not quiet printer, but so far reliable even on long prints running into daysPrint size is goodPity did not do this when I first bought the printerIf you get all the parts and are used to building and bed levelling, yes good printerThe Facebook page now has links the files, firmware and other information. Highly recommend the Facebook Group.I have not performed any mods to the printer to improve print quality further.Probably will not have to. Like the printer now its fully function. Do not regret the purchase even with the issues.

What a nightmare
I already own a 3D printer so getting another seemed like a no brainer and I already knew what I was doing. I set this thing up and man what a nightmare half the time the printer doesn’t know where home is on the xzy and it has trouble figuring out zero. So be aware that you will have to use the bed level everytime you go to print so the printer remembers cause it doesn’t save.

Great 3D printer
Great 3D printer for getting into 3D printing. Awesome customer service Joseph is very helpful with questions and getting your printer dialed in. I had some issues at first and problems were solved with simply tightening nuts properly.Having a blast with my 3D printer! #ADIMLab
