Observer's Notebook: Weather

This pretty book is like I said beyond expectation. I saw a review of this book about a year or two ago on YouTube and I finally found it. The craftsmanship of this book is stunning. It’s so well made from the inside to the outside. I scrapbook, journal and weather watch all in this one book. The soft blue throughout the book is not only aesthetically pleasing, it’s also easy on the eyes when writing in dim light. I use a fine sharpie gel pen and it doesn’t bleed! I doddle around and under the pictures that I paint and plant inside of the book. I use watercolor for my paintings and the difference of thickness of the two papers don’t affect the books pages at all, nor do the pages damage my fragile gouache paintings. I really love this book, my favorite. I plan to get many more given the chance, I have my eye on the astrology book right now. These books would be perfection as a gift for your loved ones. I hope you decide to get this book or the many others in this line.

I got this for a friend for a Secret Santa. Saw it in person before giving it to them and its gorgeous. The cover is not completely hard, it's a bit flimsy and you can bend it if you really tried. Regardless, they loved it!

It is a good size notebook with nice images and design. However, it was just not what I expected. One of the images shows a log for wind, temperature, etc each day. I thought the notebook would be mostly this as to give structure for note-taking. Instead, it is mostly blank lined pages. Still a good notebook, but less developed than what I was looking for.It also arrived in a bubble mailer instead of box, causes damage on the corners (bent on both).

The pictures in this notebook have a vintage feeling to them. Very well made. Nice gift for my meterologists parents and friends.

Item arrived with packaging intact, but this item has very dirty marks all over the light grey, hard bound cover and across the white pages on the bottom.

I'm "particular" about my notebooks. This one is good, but if you're familiar with others in the series, I prefer them. The inside illustrations etc are kind of feminine with this one

These books are amazing! I found one at a department store and loved it so much I had to look it up to find more. It's hard cover and LAYS FLAT.Most hard cover notebooks feel awkward to write in and don't lay flat.This one feels great to write in, lays flat, quality paper, the hardcover cloth looks nice and i like the variety of grid and lined paper.Please keep making these and I'd love some with just lined+grid paper without pictures, too!

Quality paper (works well with fountain pen inks such as Diamine, Pelikan, Sailor), and interesting to have the different linings - I enjoy these notebooks along with the grids and guides notebooks. I prefer the plates in the other books but that is a personal preference and does not detract from the quality and usefulness of this book.
