So much better than an upper arm device

Changed to wrist as upper arms too fiddly by myself. So much easier. You have to remember to position your elbow so wrist is same level as heart. Do 3 readings. Download app on your phone and it send your details via blue tooth and you get reading for day wee months 6 months and year. And heart beat it’s useful when you have to keep checking and to show your doctor. The battery seem to last longer than the upper arm one. It comes with compact case. Good quality and for me is accurate enough but then I would not be running to gp to keep checking the reading is correct every day. BUT I do take with me when I have appointment and we check with both wrist and docs own! That the readings are correct.Very easy to use!

Easier to use than the arm type
Bought in the hope it would be easier to use than the normal arm type and it is, although it takes a bit of practice to get the position/angle correct. There are videos online to help.Readings can be Bluetoothed to your phone to keep track via a free app.Recommended.Ps Great customer service from Omron when I lost the battery compartment cover.

Well made Omron R3
Great looking gadget but it does not read as accurate as the arm band, had to return.

Failure to measure blood pressure.
Had a similar unit for tens years, bought this to replace the old unit. Tried 20 times yesterday to get a sensible result and after 20 E4 errors eventually got a reading. Tried again this morning after 20 attempts getting error E4 each time gave up. Contacted support, still awaing their response. My upper arm unit made by a Chinese company still works perfectly but is of course less convenient to use.Omron replaced unit free, get 1 out of 10 readings without error E4. Bought a Chinese unit direct, works without issues and accurate compared with upper arm unit and Doctors readings.
