They sort of tell you, in the spec, that one port is for charging, 1 for charging/data. So you turn your 2 port laptop into a single port - clever. What a waste. Stick with the old "un-improved" 7 in 1, both USB-C ports will Charge/Data.Some will say that you need to charge power into a port, so no loss; wrong buffalo breath - I have a hub I can run power through, and multiple drives attached. So this removes the option of doing that on both ports. (I do this by running power through the hub, energizing the HDDs, making it a powered hub). My laptop is powered separately, so plenty of juice for all.But that is off the table with this hub. I was fooled. don't let you be fooled.

Awesome product! Works like a charm and looks like an original macbook pro product. So far everthing goes well, and it has worked great to connect devices and present on external displays (mostly via HDMI). Compact and lightweight design, easy to put it into my laptops case, when used, it is to save my desktope space, a great acquisition for my travels.

Well made, flexible, excellent fit. No issues with signal integrity, images and video are sharp and flawless.The retention screws are a little hard to finger-tighten, but that's the DVI design, not the vendor.

this are nice and slimwill order longer ones as they do not take up much space in the world of cablesso wrapping them is not a problem
