This thing is cool, but quite flimsy. There really isn't any destructions to speak of. But it is easy to figure out. What I don't like about it: 1. Boom is really weak as far as how much weight it can pick up. It also rocks side to side as the sled moves back and forth. 2. The hook is plastic. 3. The log is useless. 4. It looks and feels really cheap. 5. It is really easy for a child to break it. What I do like about it. 1. Price 2. The movement looks really cool. Other than there is no proportional movement. One speed just makes it jerk when you start and stop the boom rotation. 3. The basket looks really nice. 4. You can change the height to 3 positions. 4. The up and down hook cable movement isn't too bad. Had I known this before hand, I wouldn't have purchased it. But, since I have it set up, I will not be returning it.

One star for whoever decided to package this toy in a box with an ac compressor! The crane box was crushed and one part of the toy was broken, but we decided to just superglue the pieces together as the grandson;s birthday was soon. Having had a similar crane in the past, I must say this one is MUCH better! No cords to get wrapped around because it has a remote. The boy has figured out just how much it can lift. I also got him a forklift and he transfers items from the crane to his flatbed like a pro!

Crane is easy to assemble, and looks super fun. Missing the controller however, so we haven't been able to even power the thing on. Also, battery pack didn't come with USB power cord as stated. It came with a European-style pronged wall plug. **Update: this seller is fantastic. They worked with us quickly and through a series of messages solved our issue. Sounds like there will be a bit of a wait for the parts, but we would definitely buy from them again. Thanks for the help!**

Set up was easy. But, after about an hour of use it completely stopped working. We tried charging the battery for a few hours but that did not work. We also tried other similar batteries with the same power output and that didn’t work either. Very disappointing.

I got this for my son who is 4. He loves this!! I am actually amazed how it works. It make several different constructions sounds. It spins around 720 degrees, trolley back & forth. And the the line drops down and can pick things up with the hook. It’s a lot of fun and creates a lot of imagination on his construction site. It’s a good product.

We like it because is tall, it has a remote control , moving forward and backwards, , it can rotate. It has lights and sounds like a real crane. We choose this model because the battery is charging with an usb. Ee love it . Recommend

Bought this for our grandson's 5th birthday. He loved it at first but quickly found out that the base is too narrow and it tips over too easily. Needed to mount it on a wider wood platform to stabilize it better. Remote is finicky, batteries seem to wear out way to soon, and the string gets bound up on occasion. When it works right, he finds it really fun to use when playing with with his Lego toys. I suspect that sooner or later, he will find this thing is more of a pain to use that he might enjoy and it will quickly occupy a corner in the closet.
