Were has this been all these years
I got this on a whim just to try knowing I had a large install coming up. I pulled 3500' of cat 6 cable. This simple device is a life saver. Made this install so much quicker no more cable snags pulling in drop ceilings. I have used this with cat 6 and speaker wire works wonders. If I had 1 neutral comment to make is that it can be ever so slightly tricky to put in place.

Cable pulling made easy (drop ceilings)
You are going to love this. When you are pulling cables in a drop ceiling you know you’re going to get hung if you’re pulling cable alone. This clips right on the ceiling grid and keeps the cables safe from snags and allows for easy pulling. Pair this with cable buddy pulleys and you are golden! This is a must have for the tool bag.

If you haven't already tried one, you should!
These devices show up on the market every little while. If you haven't used one before, you really should give one a try. If you are dragging your cables across up and t-grid junctions, there's a good possibility that you are damaging the jacket of your cable or screwing up the t-grid. This tool will help prevent both circumstances. Also, it does tend to knock out the kinks before they crawl into the ceiling or get caught on the grid which will save a bunch of steps and wasted time.

Keeps Ethernet cables from snagging
This is a great tool when your pulling Ethernet cable through ceiling tile. It never fails when you are pulling cable they always want to snag in the corner of the ceiling tile grid (which is where this grommet clips into). The only problem I have with it is that I wish it came in a bright fluorescent color instead of black so I don’t accidentally leave it at the job site one day.

Great if pulling wire by yourself
This is a great tool to have if you are pulling wire by yourself and also pulling wire up through the grid of a drop ceiling. It keeps your wire from being caught in the sharp corner of grid pieces.

Easy to fit to the suspended cieling and doesn't get trapped in the corners while your running cables, a must have when working alone

Pulling wire by yourself through ceiling tiles? This is a great tool to have on hand. Only note is that it will only hold on 90 degree corners which makes sense from the design.
