This delightful book made me hungry just turning through the pages, from the mouth-watering descriptions of tasty foods to the adventure of shopping for a well-stocked pantry. I'm a vegetarian and always on the lookout for new recipes that fit my lifestyle. This book is filled with vegan and vegetarian recipes and makes another great addition to Pragati Bidkar's cooking series.

Really authentic recipes for delicious Indian street food. Recipes are easy to follow, with great explanations on ingredients and cooking methods. Highly recommend!

Easy to follow and well laid out. Chai Street is a great way to get to grips with the taste that you found and loved in India and have been looking for ever since. Before Chai Street, I was trawling the internet, looking for the “right” recipe, with just the right taste. Now I don’t need to. This fab little recipe book starts with “Bold, spicy, tangy, sweet, sour, salty, hot” – so it got me from the very beginning. It’s superbly illustrated with great shots of the street food that I aspire to be able to make mine look like too. I will, however, satisfy myself with the taste, which is enough, when I close my eyes to bring back those amazing memories of Indian food.

The recipies are good but I have some problem finding some ingredients aroun here. This means I have to work out what the ingredientis and what might do instead. Otherwise good book.

Intresting recipes easy to follow directions and good humor through out a good introduction to punjabi and northern indian street and comfort food along with well know pan asian favourites such as pakora and bahji

Snacks from all over India with mouthwatering pictures! Chai Street is beautifully written, as seen in her previous 2 books Pragati is a eloquent writer. This is my 3rd book from this author & is now on my kitchen shelf. Enjoy the fun recipe names which come with a twist. Best wishes to you on publishing another hit cookbook! Shree.

I buy her books simply because I checked out her webpage and love her. She is down to earth and blogs just as if she was your best friend. How could her recipes be disappointing?
