Has fixed the constant drip
This valve fits a Franke Minerva boiling water device. Mine had started to drip into the Tundish and out through the drain. this new valve completely fixed the problem. Only issue is that it is expensive at £65 but it is the only one that is a direct replacement so you have no choice. Effective though.

Does exactly what it should do.
These valves are hard to find, so was pleased when I found what I needed. The original valve was fitted by my boiling water tap was fitted, didn't realise it had gone wrong till my water softener started to use massive amounts of salt and my water bill went up. All down to the original valve failing. When I first found this valve I couldn't believe how expensive it was! But bit the bullet and purchased one fitted it and now my salt usage and water usage have dropped significantly. So a small price to pay in the greater scheme of things. Its made well and does exactly what it should do.

Good fit
It was bought as we had a leak and needed replacing. Same brand so we knew it would be a good fit, quick delivery which is a bonus.

When it leaks it is fixable
Seat on the pressure relief valve wears at one spot and leak starts, as water eats away at the spot it gets worse. Can clean up the seat but then need to pressure test (I temporarily plumbed it into an air compressor) to ensure pressure within limits for the tank, use a 12mm socket spanner to adjust the brass pressure setting nut. Pick out the white top disc, then use fine screwdriver to remove tiny retaining washer, grey cap can be removed. Unscrew the nylon body and valve seat, and any seat defects can be seen. Valve functions without the grey cap so no need to replace. Used a counterbore to clean up seat, or a tap reseating tool.

Seems ideal for the job
Quite expensive but same price everywhere. Used it for my Franke Minerva boiler tap and seems ideal for the job of replacing old pressure valves. Arrived very quickly and efficiently packed.

Tap running like new again
Almost bought a new tap as pressure was really low and the pressure relief tap was always running. It wasn’t until a plumber told me it was not supposed to be dripping all the time I realised it had malfunctioned.. Anyway bought a new filter and new valve and it’s back working like new.Very easy to replace the part just a reminder if it does not start heating up press the override switch on the water tank
