Quantum Information (Oxford Master Series in Physics)

Excellent. Written for a physicist, rather than a mathematician. Written in a clear, textbook format, with practice questions.

The content is very concise and dry. I have a background in physics but not in information theory. I particularly appreciate that the book starts with an introduction of Bayesian inference and information theory, establishing a very helpful link to quantum mechanics in the latter chapters. The book can be organized better for example with more section titles. I'm half into the book and often find that the topics are switched too quickly, with new concepts suddenly appearing within a paragraph. I have to go back and forth between sections and go to other references for better understanding. However this is not a severe problem once I am used to the author's style. Strongly recommend.

Super good pedagogy on generalized measurements.I gained a TON from these topics whereas mike and ike were less clear.Pleasure to read!
