Garden Design Master Class: 100 Lessons from The World's Finest Designers on the Art of the Garden Hardcover – Illustrated, April 14, 2020

I've purchased both of editor Carl Dellatore's Master Class books for my library. Both are inspiring, visually splendid as they are written. As I create my home, inside and out, I use both books for reference and inspiration as I create my vision of beauty.

I have purchased all three of Mr. Dellatore's books Interior Design Master Class, On Style, and now this incredible new book, Garden Design Master Class. While all books are fantastic, I think this new book is my favorite. I've especially enjoyed being able to escape my current quarantine by looking at the gorgeous and serene garden landscapes.The essays by the world's leading garden designers is fabulous as well. This book is a must have, especially now. I love it.

I particularly liked the section on roof gardens!!! Even in the city you can have nature’s beauty all around you. Thank you David Swartzendruber for your insights.

I recently bought Edmund Hollander book and I loved it. Since the Hollander was recommending Garden Design Master Class Book I followed the recommendation but I’m a bit disappointed. This book has beautiful pictures and general direction on how to achieve a desired style but it is lacking names of the plants shown ( with some, ...a few exceptions) .I was hopping that each picture in a book would describe plants shown.With so many plants out there it’s hard to use this book for inspiration unless you are a plant master or work with a landscaper.

Entertaining, insightful and the perfect thing to think of as we experience the exterior like never before. I’m appreciating all the detail and introspection layered in as well.

Excellent resource and inspiration

I knew almost nothing about garden/landscape design before getting this book. Not only is it full of beautiful photography of inspirational/aspirational gardens around the world, but it also offers thoughtful insights from global landscape architects on tangible and intangible elements that make for excellent gardens.
