Simply Amazing
I've been an "outdoorsy" person all my life and have had numerous tents through the years... some huge, some small. To me, the worst part of camping is setting up and tearing down. I hate running tent support poles through those little sleeves along the tent edges. Especially when using those break apart bungy tethered poles. But THIS TENT completely does away with that. I just took this tent out of its box and set it up for the first time. You have to try this to believe it. It literally set up in about 30 seconds and the only reason it look that long is because I wanted to fully observe how it works. I don't use the word Amazing in hardly any of my Amazon reviews but this tent deserves it. I set it on the ground, unfolded the legs, lifted it up and it pops right up into a great tent. I didn't add the rain fly or pound in the tent stakes but that would just be another minute or so. This is a game changer as far as I'm concerned.I bought this tent because a friend of mine has one very similar and while the rest of our camping crew is setting up, he's already chilling just watching us struggle with "normal" tents.Ok... so a few more thoughts and concerns...* The tent isn't as compact in storage as most tents are due to the frame. It's about the same girth but longer. It's a bit shy of three feet long. This is only an issue for me because I go Kayak camping and space is critical.* To help combat that concern, the storage bag is one of the best tent bags I've ever used. Normally you almost can't get a tent back in its original storage bag but this one is made a bit baggy right from the start. And... it has super handy buckling straps to cinch it down. And it has carrying handles.* I think anyone who has ever had one of those pop up camp chairs knows this technology doesn't exactly lend itself to longevity. I'm a bit worried about that because I'm thinking that if one of these supports stops popping up or breaks, it will probably ruin the tent.* I camp a lot in salt environments and I 'm not sure what the tent components are made of and how well they'll hold up to salty air.So as of now, the near instant set up is awesome and the potential drawbacks (other than the larger than normal size) are just theoretical. I love this right now and can't wait to take it on its maiden voyage but if it breaks my heart later on I'll be sure to edit this review so folks know what they're getting.Edit [19may25] ... ok, take this for what it's worth as this is nearly 5 years past the original post but... the awesome tent bag that I loved didn't make it past about 3 years before it started ripping and otherwise falling apart. I use straps to augment the bag and it's ok but, since I see these tents are still on the market, I wanted to circle back to this review and share a bit more of my experience with it.

Very happy camper!
Update May 2025: I’ve used this tent since 2021… camping in Michigan and Colorado conditions. It’s held up very well - no issues whatsoever! I’ve decided to upgrade to a tent I can stand up in (I’m almost 50 years-old now) and I came out to Amazon hoping Moon Lence made other tent options, but unfortunately that isn’t the case. In researching new tents, I am determined to find a “pop-up” tent I like as much as this one.Original 2021 review: I often camp solo. I had a Coleman tent that held up very well and it wasn’t exactly difficult to assemble, but I always found I was a bit anxious about the process. Pitching a tent solo can be tricky sometimes. This season I’ve planned several camping trips so I wanted to eliminate that anxiety. After doing quite a bit of research, I landed on this tent because it looked so easy to assemble. I just came home from my first camping trip of the season and I couldn’t be more pleased. It was so easy to assemble I even switched campsites after the first night (to escape obnoxious neighbors). I would never have done this with my Coleman tent! It did thunderstorm for a few hours one night of the trip. I was worried about leaks based on other reviews. I am happy to report - no water leaked into the tent. The walls were very damp to the touch, but if you can avoid touching the walls, it’s overall pretty water resistant. I am planning to waterproof it before my next trip just to improve the performance a bit. Bottom line - if you want a hassle free tent camping experience, this is the way to go!

Quick setup and spacious.
This tent is very easy to erect. 3 min total, 1 person setup...for it to take shape. Staking it out takes more time and is always variable because my camping area was mostly rock. Had it been soil or sand...different story and much faster. The good: Doorway and windows all have zippers that function well. Windows on every side including the door. Very spacious inside for 1 or 2 or even 3 people. Of course more people, more crowded. Packed away easily in the carrying case it came in. No issue with the 'factory fold syndrome' where things come out of a box that you can't get them back into. I didn't even carefully fold it up and it still fit in its case. Comes with 10 tent pegs. Guy ropes work well and have sturdy sliders. It rained a bit and no leak. Gusting winds 15mph and up did not bring it down or damage it. The bad: it is definitely NOT a 4season tent. Inside temp will be similar to outside temp. Included rain fly only covers the peak and not the windows. Windows will leak if they are open when it is raining so a larger rain fly is needed to allow for ventilation during rain and to keep the sun off or cold at bay. Door zipper will catch material close to it and get stuck so you have to pay attention to keep the zipper free. At 10 lbs and about 33 inches long when folded, it's not a backpacking tent. I used it for motorcycle camping.. High wind makes the slides flap a LOT and it was noisy enough to keep me awake all night. So if you buy a large rainfly to go with it, this should do well even in bad rain or colder temps. I used it at 58 degrees and it was chilly inside.
