Very durable and does a great job
Used this to polish the brass mushrooms on my boat and the aluminium window frames. See the photos.I can't believe that this product can take such a beating and the first disk has hardly worn down at all.I was very sceptical at first, but I can confirm that I'm still using the first disk so it is very durable, much to my surprise as they are so inexpensive. Don't believe the others saying that it's too abrasive. They clearly didn't use a wax polishing bar. I used a green one but one can also use a white one. Great product. Does a perfect job at a great price. Very happy. 👍🏼😀😀😀😀

Not bad at all
I got this set as my last ones did not last long waste of money and when I was looking for new ones, I saw this offer could not turn it down good value for money and we will see how long one does hopefully it will last longer than a month that is how long my last buffer lasted cheaply made and not worth the money.I will update this review after a few months so you can get an in-depth insight into how they perform later on.

These are really good value and last quite well
To give my grandfathers 100 year old cannon a really good clean and I have polished it for many years by hand and it has always come up clean enough I have just bought a battery powered angle grinder and I have polished this cannon up today I have used nearly two discs and the results from it are absolutely amazing just one thing to know when you are using the polishing discs they lose a lot of Fluff then you end up having to vac it up but this is a small price for their performance especially at the price they are great investment

battery grinder with speed control best for polishing
brilliant buffing pads, you need a speed control grinder as a 240 all power one can be too fast for some polishing itemsvery good value for the money

Has limitations but also has its uses
The mounting hole is too big for my spindle (Milwaukee 4” cordless). You have to try and centre the disk before locking in to prevent vibration and disk bounce off the work piece. When it is on the compound needs to be applied to the pad when stationary. If applied when running the compound spins off and eats through the block. I found it best for the initial polish. The pad is hard and will not conform to curves so a softer mop is needed for final polish. It lasts well I’ve used only one for multiple items on a bike rebuild.

Good way of polishing casings
Bought to polish alloy engine cases of classic bike, they work very well with a dab of Solvol, but don’t press too hard on the angle grinder. Oh, and the ones I bought are for a 4” angle grinder so check the bore size.

Great polishing attachment.
Pros : cheap and easy to use. Don't come lose on the grinder.Cons : they do wear out and leave the fibres everywhere. Can stain anything white with the burning rotation if you hold it in one place for too long.I used these to clean off the excess grout when tiling. Yes they did work but I don't think it is designed for this.

Very strong adhesion of wool to disc
Works well, looks like it it will also last. Disc fits ok if you merely centre it.
