Glass Vials, 1 Dram, Pack of 12

We need these for a craft/science project we were working on. They were a little smaller than we thought but still worked.

I make my own super hot powder for use in restaurants and this fits in my belly pouch perfectly, keeping about a month's worth of powder on hand to spice up my food. The 12 pack makes sure I have spares if any are lost or broken but so far, that hasn't happened. Great for what I wanted from them.

No leak issues. I use them to collect dried gold flakes and they work well. I like that fact they do not fog up like plastic vials do so your gold looks great and easier see inside. To see inside is the point right?

They work. They hold water and other fluids. They come with tops and it’s real glass. What I don’t like is that they weigh differently. On a scale 1 may read 13.72 with water when another may read 13.83. If you are not weighing them then you are good to go also the tops are off center. They cock to one side more.

These are one of my all time favorites. I keep ordering these because of the lids. I like the polycone-seal, leak proof lids. Not sure if 100% leak proof, but for my needs they work great. I need them to main air tight seal to keep expensive material fresh, and I don't ever intend on letting them be in any position that would compromise the seal and leak out. I mostly use these for sampling and experiment bottles-so they fill that purpose great for me. I've always had really good luck with these bottles.

I got these vials for insect collecting, and have purchased multiple sets of these. These vials serve their purpose, however some of the lids do not fit on properly. It's like they can't screw on all the way and the lid remains crooked. This is true for about half of the ones in the pack. However, they still serve their purpose and don't seem to leak either way.

A customer said that her product leaked a bit when she received it. I checked on an order that I hadn't shipped out yet that had a 1 dram vial in their other and it did indeed leak.. the label on the vial was covered in oil and ruined. I wrap my vials very well with bubble wrap, so the leak was contained but.. we REALLY don't want leaky vials.Be careful with these!

I hope the three pictures that I've added to my review help someone. Sometimes it's difficult to picture the size of an item going by its stated dimensions even if the description and measurements are 100% accurate. These are small bottles. Unfortunately, they didn't work for what I had intended as they were a bit too small. I can't say if they are leak-proof but the quality seems decent and they are definitely affordable. They seem to be a quality bottle if the size fits your needs.
