I bought these to replace an expired set of X-Sense 10 year smoke alarms. The old ones actually lasted a little longer than 10 years (my bad), so I'm pretty confident that these will last as long as advertised. The installation was easy and the addition of CO detection makes these a little larger so it covers all the mounting holes from previous alarms. The CO detection also gives me greater peace of mind since I have a gas furnace. They are loud, as smoke detectors should be. They are also probably the nicest looking alarms I've ever had - very nice design. I haven't had any false alarms so far. Overall, I very happy with these. Definitely worth the money for combo smoke/CO alarms.

nice simple self-networking smoke/co detectors. no phone junkware, no internet, just simple mesh net so that if any detector is triggered, they all alarm.

I ordered 7 of these smoke/CO units. All were packaged well and wrapped to keep any dust or debris from entering the device. The units appear to be well constructed and the baseplate is very sturdy. Installation is simple and the pairing to put devices on their contained network is straight forward. The one thing I would change is to offer an adapter bracket to attach to junction boxes. I was replacing some older units that were line powered when the house was built. Since these devices have a 10-year battery there is no need for line power. In my case, I capped the existing wires but had to come up with my own mounting procedure to both install the new baseplate and cover the junction box in the ceiling.Update 06.10.2023: A little disappointed during the install. The instructions state that if you have purchased a bundled set like this that all units are paired together at the factory. However, after installation I tested the system and none of them were paired. Although pairing the units is not difficult it would have been nice to simply install them, run the test and be done.

I have smoke detectors, however I have some Gas appliances, and wanted Duel Smoke and Carbon Monoxide detectors. After much research, X-Sense are among the top Detectors on the market. I purchased a set of 5. They were very professionally packaged, clear instructions, high quality, and very easy to install. I sleep better knowing my family is well protected!! Highly Recommended.

The second one I’ve bought. It works great and love the 10 year battery. The second one was for our guest house that we are Airbnb so the carbon monoxide detector and smoke is perfect.
