TAN-LUXE THE BODY Self Tan Drops, Add Tanning Drops to Skin Care for Custom Body Tan

I was skeptical because most of the self tanner products are streaky or orange looking. This one is GREAT! I ordered the medium/dark drops and followed the directions carefully. Before I went to bed I put 6 drops in about a tablespoon of my favorite lotion and mixed it with my finger in the palm of my hand. I repeated this process for each thigh and calf, rubbing the remaining lotion on the top of my feet. I didn't use it anywhere but my legs, because they never get tan like my arms. I don't tan my face at all. I made sure the lotion was rubbed in evenly and the next morning I had a nice, just the right color, tan on my legs! The tan lasts about 4-5 days and fades evenly. I reapplied about 3 days after the first application just to keep the tan going. Worked perfectly! I highly recommend this product.

Amazing streakless result with a great color for me. I’m pretty fair, so I added only 4 drops to my leg creme on each leg.I loved the color and did the same the next day, adding more to arms, also. Came out a bit deeper and I’ll be using these all year.

I usually prefer TAN-LUXE’s gradual tanner, but these self tan drops are very effective and give my skin a natural, even color. It’s easy to mix into my daily lotion, and I like being able to adjust the intensity for a subtle glow or a deeper tan. Highly recommend if you want a flexible self-tanning option that really works.

I decided to give these drops a try after seeing Tan-Luxe products on several "Best Of" lists. Even though this product is spendy, I think it is a good value for money because like the packaging says, 2-6 drops per body part mixed in body cream or lotion is all you need to accomplish a visible tan. I like the dropper applicator that makes it easy to control the amount of product that you use. I am Mexican ancestry so I naturally toe the line between light and medium foundation shades, with a neutral undertone. I try to stay out of the sun to avoid sun damage.I have now tried these drops 2 different times, a couple months apart. I was hoping these drops would give me a golden brown glow that mimics a natural suntan. I mixed 3-4 drops in a pump of body cream (as per the directions) and applied until rubbed in. It takes about 4 hours to start seeing noticeable darkening. There is a slight biscuit smell as expected with most self-tanners, but it isn't overpowering.I don't know if it is my skin chemistry or what, but instead of a neutral brown tan, I got a yellowish, slightly orange result. Compared to the tan I used to develop naturally spending time in the sun when I was younger, it looks unnatural.I think people with fair/light skin tones with neutral or cool/rosy undertones would get a better result with this product. Upon doing more research, I'm off to look for a tanner with a green base to combat the yellow/orange result. But the ease of use and the potency are fantastic, especially for me as a first-timer to self-tanning.

I wasn't sure if this would work as well given the description of use, but I am impressed with how well it worked. Directions say to add a cpl drops to your lotion-I but the usual amount of lotion in my hand that I would normally apply to each extremity and I added 2 drops to the lotion while in my hand and applied it. There is no odor which is a HUGE bonus by itself and no streaking per say but I did notice a lighter hue to the area I failed to equally distribute the lotion mixture. If you reapply the mixture, you'll get a darker hue and the color lasts longer than most self-tanners I've tried. I didn't correct the lighter area; I just remain more cognizant when I applied the next time. Lasts a good 4-5 days before needing another application

I followed directions and tried several times to achieve results but unfortunately I never saw any results as advertised with this product! I did request a return which was accepted and received a refund promptly.

I’m confused. This product has good reviews, however I’m not convinced. I have been using these drops and the attractive part is that I can control the amount of tanner I add to my own moisturizer - LOVE this feature! There’s no odor and it goes on with little to no streaking. The issue is that there’s no durability - the color is gone the next day or the next shower. What am I not understanding here? Should I try the Gradual Tan lotion? Is it designed to last longer? I don’t want to apply this everyday or after every bath/shower. My expectation is that one application would last several days, at a minimum. So, it’s a lovely self-tanner, but has no longevity. Contemplating not repurchasing.

I have fair skin and freckles - I have always burned, peeled and freckled! Most self tanners look really fake on me. I mix this one with a little lotion - stir well - and apply up/down, back and forth and around, so as not to have streaks. It looks the most natural of anything I've tried.
