Helped my 6yo son catch better
I bought this for my 6yo boy who was having a hard time getting his glove to the ball to catch. I made it a game where he had to stop the ball from getting by him. It worked perfectly. In one week he went from missing 9 out of 10 balls to catching 9 out of 10 balls with his glove! He is a big 6yo, his hand fits but for really little ones, it might be a little too big for their fingers. Definitely worth a shot though. Very happy with this purchase! And he always asks to use it now. He loves it!

Great for the price.
If you have infielders you are going to need this sooner or later. For the price this one is great. We had a different one but was foam and glued together. It had been left out in the sun and started to separate so we have been more careful with this one. I say that to give warning to others that this may have the same issue but we are trying to avoid that same issue with this one purposefully. I have a set of 13 yo twins this gets a good bit of use at the house and and the field. It fits me and the boys. Its durable enough and has enough rigid quality to go with them in their gear bag. Easy to use as a warm up tool and for infield drills.

Great teaching tool to encourage catching with two hands
THere are multiple brands that sell this same concept - basically using a FLAT glove to teach the importance of catching with two hands. This SKLZ version is a good take on the idea. I've used it with my 6 year old and it's helped him.My only concern is durability - I could see the finger straps breaking and the material of the 'glove' is a bit cheap but after one season of use it's still working well so for the money it's worth it to me.FYI - we use this to teach both underhand and overhead catching - even short pop-fliesI would buy again

Wish I had this as a kid
Bought for my nephew and it works great to practice having soft hands in baseball. With they had this when I was a kid.

Great for getting hand on the ball quickly.
Holding up well and a great training aid. My 5&7 year older boys start our practice with about 5 minutes of this. Helps them get their hands on the ball quickly. Improves funneling the ball into the glove. I usually use a soft ball and bounce or roll to them. They shuffle and then quickly get their hand on it to keep it pressed against the soft hands tool. A little bit for the 5 year old but he makes it work.

Simple
Simple design. Does the job. Will use it to work on in-fielding.

Foam Pads Seperate
The foam pads separate with a little use. My team (9 to 11 year old boys) used two of these at three practices, and by the end of the third practice, the foam pads on one of them was separating. A little spray adhesive seems to fix the problem. Only time will tell.
