Magnetic Door Catch
What I really love about this magnetic door catch is how securely it holds the door shut. Even though it’s not a heavy-duty latch, the magnet is strong enough to keep the door in place without any slamming or swinging open unexpectedly. I can confidently close the door with a simple push, and the magnet instantly clicks into place, holding it tight. No more annoying doors that pop open when I’m trying to keep things organized.

AAA+++ Even this grandma got it done in less than 30 minutes.
Even this grandma installed these in less than 20 minutes. I used a couple of tools. I had a marker to mark the holes. A Phillips head screwdriver to match the screw heads that came with the package. A pointy thing that looks like a screwdriver, but has a longer point (a nail would work too) to "pre-drill" or just start the hole where I marked where the screw will go. Hammer for that nail/screwdriver thing, and a drill with a Philips head to match the screws. The drill isn't even needed depending on how hard your wood is. It was a little overkill for what I was doing. A regular Phillips said screwdriver by hand could work just as well if your wood is not too hard. (Oh my don't read too much into that🤣). Anyway, I watched the video and it had everything I needed to see how to line things up and once I understood that it was just a matter of minutes to get it all done. Lickety-split and it works. I used the 90 pound magnets because my door is warped from not ever having latches. They hold and the warp hopefully will calm down. In the meantime, my door opens and closes. Now I guess I'm going to need a pull door handle so it looks nice. Hope the pictures are helpful. Don't be afraid to try it. I'm pretty proud of myself.

Works great
This is surprisingly a strong magnet! We used screws to install it so it is holding up well. It keeps the door from being easily opened but can open with a firm push or pull.

Perfect!
These work great. We put up a screen door for our pantry. It was a little warped. These even helped straighten the door.

Problem Solved...hopefully?
I inherited a house that has a set of swinging doors (like a bar in an old fashioned western) which were installed to keep the cats out of the foyer about forty years ago. What followed was a thirty year battle between Dad and the cats, who wanted into the foyer. MOstly, the cats won. That said, I appear to have inherited the battle along with the house because I now have four, large kittens who really want in the foyer. Having seen various things tried (note the gate latch in the picture) I opted for something new. Magnets. It's mounted slightly differently then intended (it's meant to latch two doors with the magnetic plates hitting included striker plates) with the two magnetic plates (which are attracted to each other) mounted so they overhang and attach in the open space between the doors. It's definitely pretty firmly in place, but I can come and go needed and so far (three days, take of that, what you will, but it's the longest anything has held so far) no cats in the foyer. The latches seem to be very well made, and the magnets hold on firmly. It comes enough screws and they too, are good quality, not especially long, but it doesn't seem to need that.

Great magnet!
Used to hold cabinet closed in RV. Very strong holding it closed firmly. Has a nice finish on it as well.

Don’t look like the photo
The ones in the photos and videos have the logo on them and you can’t see the middle part of the magnet. The ones I got don’t have any that. Look just like the cheap cheesy ones.
