Fine, wavy to 3a hair that is low porosity. This is my new favorite thing.First of all, this product smells amazing. It's not one of those heavy perfume smells. Mostly citrus, a bright and natural smell. More importantly, it works fantastic. I was using an expensive organic conditioner for curly hair that my stylist had recommended and it just wasn't working for me. This is about a quarter of the price and a million times better. I have low porosity hair and my hair just was not absorbing the other conditioner. Now my hair is moisturized, shiny, AND had volume after using- the holy grail combo. Plus my hair is so soft. It's like my hair has been dying for this all along. Not too heavy to use at the roots as well. Now my scalp is no longer itchy.

I bought this shampoo & conditioner thinking this might work great for my thin, fine 3b curls since my hair gel (EcoSlay Orange Marmalade) is also flaxseed & aloe. I totally understand a square bottle from a packaging/ display aspect, but when you are in the shower, what a pain in the butt! I have also never used a shampoo and conditioner that made my hair feel so sticky and awful before. Not soft, not easy to run your fingers through - just seriously awful! But once I have added product and dried my hair, it looks amazing! Consistently good hair days plus a lot less hair fall in the shower even after days of having my hair up. I will take my hair looking great when I need it to over how disgusting it feels while I’m washing/ conditioning it. Plus, the scent is light and the price is wonderful. It’s definitely worth trying!

The consistency is nice, the quality is great, it cleanses the hair slightly but mostly moisturizes, it’s lightweight and the smell is heavenly! Leaves my hair shiny

I have longer, white lady frizzyish banana-ish type curls and my hair is drying, especially the blind balyage on brownish with 10% gray & I air-dry.I recently used the shampoo, conditioner & same line styling products for the 1st time with, FOR ME, no great results to mention, sorry. But it smelled WONDERFUL, a little went a LONG way; very rich shampoo. The conditioner didn't leave a slick feeling, it rinsed out maybe too well, so it FELT like I needed to condition again with something heavier or more coating. But I didn't.I'm no expert but I think this product would work wonderfully on the hair of 20-30 yr olds who already had healthy natural hair, even straigh hair, to make it clean, smell good & even better quality. But for curly/frizzy type meduim textured foiled shaft dryish hair like mine, it was not an exciting new discovery. Maybe it needs more flaxseed? Or, market it to non-dry, non frizzyish heads cuz it didn't improve that.

If you know what the Curly Girl Method is, this shampoo is CG approved plus it's reasonably priced and easy to find. The packaging and fragrance also make it a hit with my teen!

I got this by mistake but I’m not disappointed. Works great on my mixed son’s hair, he has 3 type and 4 type tight/loose curls along with straight hair. His curls came to life and stayed hydrated and soft in between washes. Love this stuff! So happy I made that mistake :)

I love the shampoo and conditioner so much, it has a honey like scent that is really pleasant. My friends tell me I smell like happiness when they sniff my hair, lol. I have fine, medium density 2b/2c waves and the flax seed line is very compatible with them. The conditioner makes my hair super soft when I leave it in for 10 minutes or so, but this isn't something I can leave in for a minute, it needs more time to marinate and do its job. Love it, gives me great hair days and I think my hair has improved since using it. One bottle has lasted me 5 months already and I'm 2/3 the way through. Will purchase again.
