Just like they used to make
After several failed tries to find a normal mattress pad, this is the winner. Washed very nicely before putting on the bed. Fits the King-size mattress perfectly with lots of side material to tuck neatly underneath. I was worried that the side fabric would be that weak interfacing stuff, but it was regular fabric. All of it smooth to the touch. Just enough padding to be smooth and not feel the mattress pillowing below, but not too much that it's puffy. Just like the good ol' mattress pads that they used to make and can't find anymore. Most important for fragrance-allergy sufferers like me: No smell.

Five Stars for the Company Utopia
If I needed a new mattress I would probably get MLILY brand again, but wavered between medium firm and firm and chose medium to be on the safe side. When I got it, it felt great compared to my old mattress. After a couple of months I felt I needed the firm mattress instead. So I bought a topper. BUT, I still think this mattress was the right choose, I myself think the firm would have been a better choose. The company and delivery were great. I would buy from them again, but I would get the firm.

Thin padding
The mattress pad is thin. Unfortunately, my son did not like it for that reason. However if you need a cover that is thin, this would possibly work for you. I wouldn't say the material is top notch but it did seem well sewn and it was black and not a faded black.

Saved my mattress and good night's sleep!
This is definitely leak proof! I am recovering from an injury and had a ziploc bag of ice on the bed. I noticed coming to bed at night that the ice melted and drenched the quilt, sheets and mattress protector. When I removed the sheets and mattress protector, the mattress was completely dry. Such a relief we didn't have to go to bed with wet sheets in the middle of the night. It's also soft and comfortable to sleep in.

Buy it!
This is a great addition to my bed, it adds the perfect amount of softness and comfort to my bed. It helps protect my bed and the durability is great. We have been using it for months and there haven't been any issues, it is the perfect size and does not slip off the bed and washes perfectly. I would recommend this one if you are looking for a king size mattress protector/pad!

Works
The mattress pad is completely adding comfort. It really goes on easy, adds padding, and holds in place well. The sheets stay in place.I have not had any issues to test the waterproofing or durability. The support I do get comes with everything staying in place as the bed adjusts.
